Winning the Best Inbound and Transport Operator Category for three (3) consecutive years (2019, 2022, 2023) has granted us the privilege to share the podium with four (4) respected industry colleagues; Likuliku Lagoon Resort OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort Rosie Holidays Fiji and Vatuvara Private Island.

It also means we stand down for a period of two years from being considered in the category; however we maintain our pursuit for Excellence....24/7/365.

11- 15 March 2024:

TEWAKA is TRAINED & READY for the SEASON 🙌

TEWAKA continues to invest in the professional training of our Transport Team to prepare for the upcoming season.

New Zealand based Professional Driver Trainer, David Kinnard conducted our annual week-long Professional Driver Training course which covered our new team members plus Advance Level curriculum.

David also conducted practical tests and where required, one-on-one training for all of our Professional Drivers, and assessed our Group 5 team who are aspiring to drive our coaches.

The program complimented the inaugural Public Service Vehicle (PSV) refresher training TEWAKA conducted in partnership with the Land Transport Authority (LTA) the week prior.

We are not perfect but we keep striving for Excellence in the Consistent Delivery of our Services…..

Back To Basics!

Feb 2024 was an exciting month for ; starting off with our humbling win in the Transportation Category (Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards); followed by managing the transportation logistics for NRL pre-season game between Melbourne Storm and New Castle Knights.

We ended the month with another first!

Tewaka partnered with Fiji's Land Transportation Authority (LTA) to conduct the inaugural Public Service Vehicle (PSV) Drivers refresher training. This training was conducted over a span of two days.

"Good to have done the Refresher PSV DDC course now to refresh our memories rather than having to wait for six years to attend the PSV DDC Course when needing to renew our certificates and/or license". - Waqa (19yrs with Tewaka)

"I found the Refresher PSV DDC course very helpful as this refreshed our memories of the safety whilst on the road and impact of overspeeding and when under the influence of alcohol/kava and when fatigued" -Sanjay (12yrs with Tewaka)

In our continued committed efforts in keeping our team informed and in preparation for the peak season; TEWAKA conducts extensive refresher training annually for all our professional drivers covering the basic applications of driving, safety, customer service, right attitude, discipline and honest work ethics.

Our warmest Congratulations to and for the successful facilitation of the inaugural NRL Pre-season match between Melbourne Storm⚡️ and New Castle Knights 🤺 played at Lautoka's Churchill Park on Saturday. 👏🇫🇯

TEWAKA was humbled and proud to have been appointed by Melbourne Storm as the official ground transport provider for both the teams, accompanying executives and Fox broadcast crew. A very memorable occasion for our team 🙏

What an amazing opportunity to bring Rugby League fans of all ages to witness an exciting game right in our backyard; and to grow awareness of the sport. ✌️

We wish the NRL and all participating teams the very best for a safe and enjoyable 2024 season 🏉

TEWAKA is extremely humbled to once again be appointed and entrusted as the official ground handler and transport provider for the team.

We would also like to acknowledge Pleass Global for their generous support with the provision of their award-winning VAI WAI Bottled water that the players received upon arrival.
