L’ECURIE is a 2 bedroomed detached gite that sleeps 2/3 people. Set in very tranquil rural location, surrounded by fields and woodland with south facing gardens. This area is perfect for cycling, walking , fishing and birdwatching. We are on one of the many green post local walks and about 10 minutes away from the canal cycle paths. rds in the area. There are also many fishing lakes and rivers, for which you can purchase a licence from the local town. We are situated approx. 45 minutes from Bordeaux airport, and 70 minutes from Bergerac airport. We are easy to find, just 5km from the A62, junction 4 exit. It has a general shop, post office, pub and doctors. Facilities include a full size above ground swimming pool, table tennis and swingball. We also have a wide collection of DVD’s to borrow. All towels, beach towels and bedding is provided. We, the owners live next door, so are always on hand to help in any way or give information on the area and facilities. Bedroom 1- has a king size four poster bed. Bedroom 2- has 2 single beds

Kitchen- The kitchen is very well equipped to be home from home including cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron and board. Living Room- Lovely living room with an original stone walls, exposed beams and a small wood burning stove, also a TV with satellite, a DVD player with a huge selection of DVDs. The Gite has an enclosed private south facing garden which has the sun on it from sun rise until it sets in the evening. But if shade is needed you have your own pagoda shaded patio table and chairs. Fontet, approx 7km , a manmade lake and beach area with a playground for the younger children, a café, a small beautiful marina with a variety of boats, and a canal where if you are lucky you can see the barge boats pass by, it really is a beautiful place. Also along the whole stretch of canal up to Bordeaux is a purpose made cycle track. Casteljaleaux, About 20k- A lovely town with a golf course and a huge lake and manmade beach where you can take a peddle boat out on the lake, also a variety of waterslides. Aqualand, about 1.5 hours from us, a fantastic family day out at a waterpark. The Dunes De Pyla, about 1.5 hours from us. The largest natural sand dune in Europe and well worth a visit. It is breathtaking to look at, and also to climb, but once at the peak the views are amazing. Marmande, about 25km. Is a beautiful oldy worldy town with beautiful architecture, a lovely variety of shops and cafes and most definitely the best cake shop in the world! We are 10km from La Reole which has all your needs including a bank, pharmacy, tabac, several large supermarkets, 2 restaurants, one very French and one Italian, both fantastic food at fantastic prices. 5 minutes from nearest motorway (A 62 E 72 JNCT 4).
