Our Story
Located halfway between Toulouse and Carcassonne, close to the Canal du Midi, The French School House is ideal for families and has a private garden with heated swimming pool. Based in the heart of Languedoc- Roussillon, our property is ideally positioned for exploring the Cathar region, with its amazing 'La Cite' at Carcassonne, the Black Mountains and the wine regions of Corbieres and Minervois. The Mediterranean coastline is just over an hour away.
The ground floor comprises of an open plan lounge/dining room, kitchen and family bathroom with bath and shower. The lounge has a 42” TV with UK stations, DVD player, Radio/ CD player and a dresser providing books, DVDs, CDs and games. Wifi is also provided.
The well equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven, built-in deep fat fryer and internal BBQ, microwave, American style fridge/freezer, small 'drinks' fridge and coffee machine. Laundry facilities include washer/dryer, washing line. iron and ironing board.
Upstairs are 4 bedrooms (2 king, 2 twin) all furnished with traditional French bateau beds with matching dressers and wardrobes. There is also a shower room with toilet and basin.
