It all started in 2003, in Avignon-France, when several local guides decided to create their own company with their experience of walking & cycling trips.
Strong of their knowledge of Mainland Portugal, Madeira, Azores, Cape Verde, Italy and thanks to their experience as guides, they created the first Intura tours based on what they really loved doing: walking
Over the years and thanks to the expansion of the company, its various itineraries and its number of travellers, the company decided to add Self-guided walking and cycling tours to its catalogue!
Development of trips in France, our home land !
As our tours kept on attracting many adventurers, and recognizing the potential of his home in south of France – of its magnificent villages, walking trails and culture : the company decided to go international, and create walking and cycling trips in Provence, French Riviera and Corsica for an international clientele.
INTURA becomes a reference as an Adventure Ground-operator and Tour-operator
A new chapter in the company’s life that would turn Intura in a stronghold name in the adventure tourism activity: by travelling to the many international destinations, and creating our own tours from scratch - as we have always done - allowed us to get to feel, discover and experience the destinations that we were opening: our walking and cycling tours, off the beaten tracks, are the fruit of our travels and hard-work.

We have had thousands of adventurers travelling with us and we keep on expanding our offer.
Still relying on our core values of responsible travel, authentic experience and 100% created tours – made by our Track finders – we aim to open new destinations regularly in the future, both in France and across the globe.
Intura is a recognised and certified agency by Atout France. Intura is also a ATTA (Adventure Travel trade Association) member that strives to deliver an exceptionnal walking and cycling experience to our travellers!
