The Grape harvest is off to a good start in the countryside of the Charente Maritime. Why not come and join us to try Pineau / Cognac and of course Wine locally grown in this area ?

That’s a wrap! Summer season 2024 is finished and it’s our turn to be on holiday. Thank you so much for the people who stayed with us this year - we have truely had a blast. Bookings already being taken for next summer (open all year round aswell ) - can’t wait to see you all again x

Been a warm one today 31 degrees.
I’ve been tidying up some of the garden. With all the rain we have had ,the shrubs and plants won’t stop growing.

Who needs some sunshine ?
What do you love about the Charente Maritime?
Quiet roads, a wealth of wildlife, vineyards all around us. Fields of poppies in spring and sunflowers in summer. The air is clean and the weather is sunny and bright most of the year round.

The Boys have been go karting today ! Great fun - only 20 mins up the road from us in the beautiful historic town of st Jean d’Angely. Now we are all off for the best cote de boeuf 😋 at Aux Bons Vivants xx
