Our tours are private tours and last for at least 9 hours. There exist a range of options for tours;

Tour A The American sector covering both Omaha and Utah areas

Tour B The British and Canadian sectors visiting Sword Juno and Gold Beaches

Tour C The American Airborne visiting drop zones and the sites of major engagements of the 6th of june and the days after. Tour D The British

Airborne visiting strategic engagements on the 6th of June and the days that followed. The tour of course can follow your direction and we will take you to the sites that you wish to see if the basic tours do not cover all you want to see.

Today with a few Pals a visit to Lisieux and the civilian cemetery which includes Commonwealth War Graves, the Graves of civilians killed in the fighting, WW1 Graves and a memorial to the deported and executed.

OTD, July 31st 1944 Lt. Dickie Powle helped to take this bridge intact which would allow 11th Armoured Brigade to exploit the gap in Normandy. Thought I'd visit as it's the anniversary.

Memorial to Canadian forces of the Regina Rifles who fought so hard to liberate and hold the town of Bretteville l' Orgueilleise in June 1944 despite repeated attacks by members of the 12th SS accompanied by Panther tanks.

A fallen French soldier of the First World War commemorated in the churchyard of Mouen, Normandy. The church shows the scars of the 2nd World War passing through the same village.

On my Wednesday walkabout I stopped at the Special Service Brigade, Royal Marine Commando memorial at Sallenelles. The house next door to it was used as a hospital and the current owners invited me in to see the collection of artifacts that had been dug up in the garden over the years and also graffiti in the house from men who were treated there.

An afternoon in the sunshine paying respect to the Canadian volunteers who began their Normandy story on Juno Beach.

Afternoon stroll in the sunshine, visiting the often overlooked village of Cambes en Plaine. The cemetery contains the burials of 224 British service personnel mostly killed during Operation Charnwood. Off the beaten track but we'll worth a visit, I'd be happy to show you around.

Came across this little memorial yesterday to an artist who was born, lived and died in the same rural community of Agy. Executed by German troops in June 1944.

WN35b German observation position overlooking Gold Beach

Some photos of the merefontaine gun battery situated behind Gold Beach. The position consisted of 4 type R669 casemates with 100mm Czech cannons. The position was liberated by C company 7th Green Howard's with the help of two flame throwing crocodiles.
