Before, during and after photos of the dining room table. I had hoped to sand the top back to wood and varnish it but it didn't turn out to be that nice. So it ended up being all grey again!

One of the biggest jobs we did over the winter season was to renovate the pool. It was a huge job but we're really pleased with the results. Let's see what you think...

First set of guests for the season checked out this morning, they'd travelled over from San Francisco to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary with their friends and family from France and other parts of Europe. Our local favourite Restaurant L'Arthémy provided all the catering and the marquee and here's some pictures of what it all looked like.

You might think we've been quiet over the winter period but we've been busy with a number of projects and more will be revealed as we head to the start of the summer season. But a big job that we did last week involved replacing all 7 showers that we have around the property. We're not completely finished yet but I wanted to share some of the before and after photos with you so you can see what the changes will look like.

These are just the showers in the gite to start with and I'll post pictures of the other rooms as they start to be tidied up.

Hope you like what we've done but do let us know if you have any suggestions for how to make sure the showering experience is the best it can be.
