Let’s try Fideuà 🤩 !

This catalan fisherman dish reminds us of a famous dish from Valencia: the Paella 💃🏻 ! The only difference is that the Fideuà replaces rice with pasta ! They are cooked in a fish broth before being garnished with squid, cuttlefish and gambas ✨.

For this exceptional painting tour, it’s not 1️⃣, but 2️⃣ incredible teachers 🧑🏻‍🎨: Howard Rose and Marc Josloff ✨.

Howard Rose graduated from the School of Visual Arts, NYC, and did graduate studies at C.W. Post, and the New School in NYC. Since 1974, he was Head Product Designer for a major leatherwear company in Santa Monica. In 1980 he started his own graphics and Product Design company on Long Island. In 1989, Howard saw the paintings of a western painter named John Nieto. The amazing colors and large sized paintings of American Indians caught his eye and he hasn’t looked back since.

He teaches oil painting classes in multiple venues on Long Island, including the Art League of Long Island, National Art League and runs classes at his studio in Syosset, Long Island. Howard runs many varied workshops including: Color mixing, IPhone photography, Design & Perspective and an intensive Calligraphy and Penmanship course.

Let’s go to Europe with an awesome Art teacher 🧑🏻‍🎨 ! Would you like to know more about this creative journey ? Perfect ! Let us introduce you to Marc Josloff, watercolorist and Fine Art Photographer ✨.

Marc is the President of the Long Island Center of Photography and also teaches watercolor classes at the National Art League and the Art Guild in Manhasset, NY.

“I have specialized in watercolor since 1987. It has become my true love among all the painting mediums. I've been teaching watercolor painting since 2004.
On this trip I am going to spotlight a method of combining drawing and painting without it looking like illustration, without it looking like a coloring book, but rather genuine fine art painting. I've been developing this approach since 2013. I will be happy to initiate watercolorists who have not worked like this before, but I will be equally available to coach artists in traditional watercolor painting.
I call the new approach "line and blob" as it marries gesture lines with expressive watercolor shape-making. The objectives of "Line & Blob" painting are: easily transportable, super fast (30 min paintings or faster), more personally expressive, more creative - embracing a deeper appreciation of line, shape, value design, composition, movement.”
