The underground wine cellars at Chateau de la Riviere - Fronsac are one of our favorite places to visit, not only for the amazing wines but also for the rich history of wine parties, napoleonic graffiti, and resistance fighters.
One of our absolute favorite lunch experiences is at La Chapelle, a première restaurant at the 1er Grand Cru Classé Château , a breathtaking estate in . We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
We’re always impressed by the spectacular views of the and vineyards from the overlook at !
Did you know know that in 1453 the English surrender following the Battle of Castillion, which ended the Hundred Years War, took place right here at Château De Pressac?
We just love the rich history of this beautiful landscape!
There’s something about old vintages that makes a château tour that much more interesting
Another exceptional visit of Château in Pessac-Léognan on our first tour of the season! One of our favorite parts of this beautiful estate that dates back to the 14th century is their on-site barrel making room.
We were so thrilled to finally be back at Château Léoville Poyferré, an exceptional estate in the picturesque Saint-Julian appellation! As you can see, the weather couldn’t have made a more perfect day!
Did you know that architecture is hidden all over ? There’s no better example than the Palais Gallian off of Rue Fondaudege.
Plus, apparently, humans aren’t the only ones who love this hidden monument…
