I'm also a wine pro in Bordeaux. I've been working at Château Suduiraut (1st Grand Cru Classé of Sauternes since 1855) and Cordier Mestrezat Grands Crus. I'v

C A L V A D O S 🍏 L’autre côté de la pomme… Do you like spirits made with apple 🍎 and/or pear 🍐 ? The tradition of Calvados is old and we have many terroirs, many species of apple and pear trees 🌳 and obviously many ways to consume !

R O L E T 🥂 Nop, this is not Champagne but a marvelous delicious bubblous incrediblous Crémant of Jura ! I tasted this gem 💎 for and was amazed by the complexity and the freshness of this bottle 🍾 ! Let me also tell you that the bottle has no label, it’s carved in it and it’s beautiful !

B E L A I R 🪽 M O N A N G E 🍷 What a visit ! Sadly is closed to visit for the public… but as a wine professional who will collaborate with and , I was able to discover what was behind the closed door. Thank you for welcoming us 🍷

I think the pictures speak for themselves so I will let you enjoy 😊

For the tasting, we had the pleasure to have 2018 . The freshness was incredible with a perfect balance between a juicy fruit and a slight toastyness brought by the wood. The finish was lovely, long with a touch of flower like violet and smoked tea.

It was a great moment 🤗

Petit tour hier dans ma , ma ville d’enfance et d’été 🌞 J’ai voulu faire un petit tour au bookstore pour voir si je pouvais dégoter mon 111 Sakés à ne pas manquer !

C’est un lieu magnifique à visiter et en plus ils ont une belle sélection d’ouvrages ! Merci à eux d’avoir pris mon livre 📕

B O U L A R D & filles 🥂Very nice discovery at Galeries Lafayette Gourmet of this nice Champagne ! It was fresh and crispy but also deep and complex.

My love for Champagne 🍾 is intense… I am glad to be the sparkling ✨ taster of and to enjoy, currently, some marvelous ! The results of my tasting will be in the next magazine.

Also, in a few days at Bordeaux Tasting of , you will be pleased to taste some sparklings and especially some Champagne !! Yum yum 😋

1 1 1 📖 Il est arrivé ! Il est tout beau, tout frais, tout parfait !! Mon livre… Cela fait tellement bizarre de dire ça. Et pourtant, c’est bien la réalité. 2 ans de travail, de recherches, d’échanges, de dégustations, de conseils, de corrections, de traduction…

J’ai signé avec mon éditeur et sa merveilleuse série en vers septembre 2021 et mes écrits ont grandi en même temps que mon ventre s’est arrondi ! Quand Paloma est née, le livre n’était pas encore fini mais c’était très émouvant de vivre deux événements forts en même temps. Un temps fort de ma vie professionnelle avec « 111 sakés à ne pas manquer » et bien sûr le plus grand moment de ma vie de femme avec la naissance de ma Paloma.

Alors vous l’aurez compris, j’ai tout mis de moi dans cet ouvrage. Ma passion pour le saké mais aussi pour les traditions, les savoir-faires et les histoires du Japon d’hier et d’aujourd’hui. Car c’est bien sûr une histoire de saké 🍶 mais c’est aussi une aventure au travers de paysages, de gastronomies, de légendes et de personnages. C’est donc un guide pour les amoureux du saké mais aussi pour les fans du Pays du Soleil 🌞 Levant !

111 sakés ou plutôt 110 maisons de production car oui, pour l’une d’elle j’ai mis en avant deux sakés. Il faudra lire l’ouvrage pour comprendre pourquoi. 111 profils aromatiques, 111 styles, 111 accords. Et bien sûr 111 photos 📸 que mon ami, collègue et surtout « le gars qui me dit jamais non quand je lui parle de faire un truc autour du saké et du Japon 🇯🇵 » a réalisé. , propriétaire du que vous connaissez bien si vous avez déjà fait un event nihonshu avec moi sur Bordeaux !

Merci à tous ceux qui se reconnaîtront pour leurs aides précieuses et le temps qu’ils m’ont consacré ! Lundi prochain, c’est le vernissage du livre au et le mardi 7 novembre, le livre sort officiellement chez tous les bons libraires ! Un super cadeau de Noël 🎄 non ?! 😉

C I E L ⭐️ E T O I L E pour la cérémonie des ! Un anniversaire particulier : 20 ans d’expériences œnotouristiques, 20 ans de progrès et 20 ans de 🍷 vins !

Cette soirée a vu couronner de belles propriétés viticoles sur la région dans différentes catégories précises et qui font rêver ! Il y avait du beau monde avec M. le Maire de Bordeaux par exemple et tous les représentants des offices, des unions et bien sûr de 🍀

Au programme du soir, un menu haut en couleurs qui a mis en avant la gastronomie du Sud Ouest, un ciel étoilé dans la magnifique salle de la Place de la Bourse et des vins fort agréables comme ce Chardonnay de que j’avais déjà eu l’occasion d’apprécier à la propriété !

C O R M E I L F I G E A C ♥️ I realized a super cool blending session at with the guests of 🇫🇷 It was slightly different as usual the blending session allows to blend different types of grape 🍇 varieties such as Merlot, Cab Sauv and Cab Franc. Tho here, the blend was only merlot but from vat, new oak barrel and old oak barrel. 3 merlots but 3 expressions.

P A V I E 🍑 Thank you and for welcoming the representants of the Saké Brewers Association of ♥️ We had a marvelous time listening to P***e family’s story and to discover the passion and precision of these wines 🍷

Château Pavie was awarded again in 2022 the title of 1st Grand Cru Classé A. To enter or stay in the classification of , a very important file should be given to INAO. 50% of the notation is about the consistency in quality of the 15 past vintages of the winery. Then 30% is the reputation : winetourism, press , social networks, events... Don’t forget that even if this classification is given to the estate, all of them are ambassadors of Saint Emilion AOC. Then 20% is about the vineyards and the facilities.

Wineries which have more than 16.5/20 are awarded with the class A. In 2022, Château Pavie got this marvelous reward with for the first time.

Vintage 2012 is the first vintage Château Pavie could put 1st Grand Cru Classé A on the label so they did a special one.

The wine is deep colored, intense in the nose with fresh rose, shiitake and black truffle, coffee but also black and red fruits. It is very juicy with a nice complexity. This wine is ready to be appreciated but obviously it could stay longer in the bottle to gain more tertiary aromas.

W I N E 🍷 This is not really grappe juice… This is not really wine… It is in between. We were lucky 🍀 with to taste some fermenting grappe 🍇 juice at .villemaurine in Saint Emilion.

In France 🇫🇷 we call it « bourru » but usually it is with white grappe varieties. We even sold it in supermarket ! Imagine : it is sweet, sparkling ✨ and fruity ! Yum yum 🤤

G E O R G E 7 🍷 Delicious visit at in with a lovely winos group ♥️ ! And what a lovely lunch 🥗

The story of the winery is also unique… One day, a lovely woman decided to buy few hectares in Fronsac and to start producing wine 🍷 From a hobby, to a passion to a commitment… Having a vineyard is an adventure from a lifetime and managing to create wonderful wines is a real treat 🔥 And guess what, you can also stay over there for a night 🌟

This tour is organized by 🇫🇷 🇺🇸 and I am guiding the group with the marvelous Julia, the owner and tour leader.

C H A T E A U D E F E R R A N D 🍷 Today was a special day ! I have known the winery since 2014 and I am always pleased to come back 🤗

The program of the day was great : little sneak peek in the vineyard to see the pickers, visit of the château with a sommelière 🍇, tasting of 4 different vintages and then lunch with 4 vintages again but this time we had a little game to play : to find out the best pairing between the wines and the 4 dishes 🥘🥗

I let you enjoy a little the flair of the estate through the pictures… But the winery is open to public and offers a wide range of experiences : from wine tasting to lunch at the estate without forgetting the 3 rooms to live a real Chateau’s life !

La F L E U R de B O Ü A R D 🌹 I discovered thanks to the visit at 🍷 The vats room is very unique and it is interesting if you are keen of technical details about winemaking.

Then the mapping in the barrels room is dynamic and explain well the history of the vineyard and the philosophy of the Château.

Finally, if you are searching for a different kind of wine tasting, this is the place to be ! I tasted the Chardonnay made in Bordeaux and it was a nice surprise. Obviously we can feel the touch of Mr. Hubert de Boüard’s know-how and experience everywhere. •

N A M A 🍶 Food p**n alert 🚨 is more than a restaurant in Bordeaux… it is an experience.

I met in 2017 and we decided to created events around Japanese sakes. COVID hit us hard but we are still managing to pull some magic out of our pockets to do some crazy adventures like a Koji tasting conference with .atelierdekoji ! Patrick is more than a colleague, he is a friend and I am so grateful he did the marvelous sakés pictures of my book 111 Sakés not to be missed ! Ping !

As we know each other for a while, we decided to continue to collaborate through new projects ! It is too early to talk about tho 🌻

I almost started my carrier at Suduiraut thanks to and Pierre Montégut. It has been an adventure and more than 10 years later I still have to the luck to bring guests here !

G U I R A U D 🌻 Sweet sweet wines ! is offering great wines : sweets for sure but also dry whites. The visit at the winery starts with a glass of dry white and then the guests are discovering the estate’s history. After few minutes outside to admire the vineyard and the Château, it’s time for a glass of water 💧 (yes, yes, it’s allowed during a winetour) in front of videos showing more details about botrytis 🍇 Finally, the guests are going in the cellars to learn about the winemaking process before to@reach back the tasting room to taste several wines 🍷 This is a classic visit at Château Guiraud 🌞🌻

So proud to announce my first book released on the 7th of november about Japanese saké !

Après les indices semés par nos auteurs et sur notre compte, le programme pour l’automne 2023 est disponible. Nous sommes ravis de vous présenter ces nouveaux guides qui rejoignent la collection des 111. 🎉

Dès septembre paraîtra les 111 Lieux à Grenoble à ne pas manquer écrit par Souhila Rahmi. Elle vous partage ses trouvailles dans un guide 100 % isérois, qui fait la part belle aux initiatives modernes et aux habitants engagés.

En octobre, une nouvelle destination viendra enrichir la collection suisse : la ville de Fribourg ! Les 111 Lieux à Fribourg à ne pas manquer, écrit par Tatjana Erard, vous font découvrir cette mystérieuse cité, berceau des terribles dragons. 🐉

Fin octobre, c’est cette fois-ci un hors-série qui sortira. La région bourguignonne n’a pas fini de faire parler d’elle ! Après les 111 Lieux, c’est un guide de dégustation qui met la région en avant avec les 111 Vins de Bourgogne à ne pas manquer. Le journaliste spécialisé Clément L'hôte propose ici une sélection pointue pour mettre en lumière la richesse d'un terroir.

Enfin, en novembre 2023 s’agrandira la collection de hors-séries avec un guide attendu par un grand nombre d’entre vous : les 111 Sakés à ne pas manquer. Chloé Cazaux Grandpierre, spécialiste française du saké, vous plonge dans l’univers de cette boisson emblématique et traditionnelle du Japon.

T R O P L O N G M O N D O T 🪻 I haven’t been in for a while ! I was there several weeks ago with guests but we had a beautiful lunch in the Michelin star ⭐️ restaurant : we did not visit the estate. Then, this time it was the moment. settled a lovely tour of this@1st Grand Cru Classé of 🌞 We started with a tour around the vineyard 🍇 and then in the chef’s garden 🪴 to discover cute (big) pigs 🐖 ! It’s only after that we have seen the technical part and obviously we finished with a tasting 🍷

Thank you Céline for this sweet moment. The renovation is stunning and the wines are great. See you soon 🪻

G A F F E L I E R E 🌼 Wonderful visit with Emilie at Château Canon La Gaffelière .france. The sun 🌞 was out but so was the wind 🌬️ ! The tour was really nice and the tasting very tastyyy with Château d’Aiguille 2012, Clos de l’Oratoire 2014 and obviously Canon La Gaffelière 2016.

This visit was settled by for a group of guests from the USA 🇺🇸 and Canada . I can assure you that they will never forget this first time in Bordeaux area.

D E C A D E 👩‍👧It is amazing to do what we call a vertical tasting : same wine, different vintages 🍷 This vertical of Château du in Pomerol shows how much our can age and go through an evolution. Young vintages are bright and juicy but older vintages are superb !

N E W ✨ is a must taste when we talk about Bordeaux wines. The white is marvelous and fruity, the red is smoky and complex. These wines are on our tables for decades because we love them like this 1988 (oh my G 🤩 !).

Tho the winery decided to modify the labels to create a real unicity to empower their brand. Swipe to discover the new labels !! Very important symbols have been kept and highlighted such as the shell as the chateau has been owned by priests during a long period and was then a stop-over for pilgrims doing the catholic path of Santiago del Compostela 🥾

To appreciate the wines 🍷I advise to open them and (re) discover them with a great menu. Château Carbonnieux did it with brio as I was invited for . It was delicious thanks to a marvelous crab 🦀 and green apple 🍏 as starter, quail and fresh green peas 🫛 and brioche with raspberry and granité 🍧 Everything was spot on and the wines were matching perfectly 🤌🏻

Did you know that the Médoc was also about prawn and oysters 🦪 ? Yes, the water - mix of the salty ocean and the soft river - is incredible.

I visited this farm not so long ago with amazing guests. I wanted to challenge myself and create a seafood and wine tour ! I think I manage perfectly and was highly happy to share this unsual experience while staying in the Médoc area 🤩

M A R Q U I S d’ A L E S M E 🪭 is a wonderful Grand Cru Classé in Margaux. The owner, Nathalie Perrodo, wanted to do a hommage to her asian roots from her mother side and did an amazing renovation. The architect .home did a marvelous job creating a bridge between the two cultures🏮

L E S C A R M E S H A U T B R I O N ♥️ 🎨 Yesterday evening was the inauguration of the new custom concrete vat at ! I represented and what happy to meet my fellow colleague .fr with who I spent a lovely time talking about wine 🍷, enjoying the scenery of Les Carmes and drinking some bubbles 🥂

This new custom vat N15 was made by who is a french artist inspired with medieval illumination ✨. He also loves stained glass and is trying to reproduce its transparency and colors to create his unique style.

Château Les Carmes Haut Brion asks every vintage to an artist to custom one of its vats. This inauguration was also lighted up by the presence of and M. the former President : I am sure you will be surprise with my last picture 🙃
