Five star bucket list experience

A trip to the WWII beaches of Normandy has long been on my bucket list. In doing my research I was fortunate to discover Normandy American Heroes, owned and operated by Mr. Rudy Passera.

Mr. Passera developed an itinerary around our timeline (six days) and interests, was our expert guide and made sure we were taken care of from the time we were picked up at our Paris hotel to the time we returned to the airport.

While the focus is on WWII, about which he is exceptionally knowledgeable, he also shares insights into French culture and cuisine. All of the included hotels, meals and excursions were first rate, and several were quite unique.

My traveling companions and I left feeling we received superior value for our investment, enhanced knowledge and an exceptional experience.

If you go, be sure to pack shoes that allow you to traverse various terrains as going with Rudy out onto the beaches is integral to this experience.

This was a five star trip and one I would highly recommend to anyone with an interest in WWII history.

Awesome Normandy trip

Spent a delightful week exploring the sites and memorials of the allies' Normandy Campaign with Rudy of the Normandy American Heroes.

Rudy was so well-versed and passionate about the history of the campaign, and the lifestyle of the peninsula.

During the week we--a family of three--experienced the culture, cuisine, and both local and military history of such a wonderful part of the world.

Rudy was unfailingly polite and upbeat during our days together.

No one better than Rudy a tour guide.
