Sand blasting in Le Prunier now completed which has exposed the stone work. Looks much nicer now :-)

We are still working hard to get the land and olive grove sorted before winter sets in! Weather still beaut here - 21 and sunny today. Cooler weather later this week will be a bit of a shock to the system as it will be the first since mid-April!

The next exterior project is getting underway. Guests this year may have noticed the land looking a bit ugly below the gites. Last September we had it cleared of brambles. It has now settled and we are about to construct some steps down to the land. There will hopefully also be an olive grove, fig trees and wild flowers. I'll try to document progress. Hopefully it will look better than my sketch :-)

The nearest swimming lake is at Montaigu de Quercy - I had not been before but visited with my brother and family. Really impressed - lovely sandy beach, snacks available and good sized swimming area.

Gîte Le Prunier cleaned and ready for the main summer season! A few changes this year - the family room has been updated (new beds, painting etc) and a few tweaks to the other bedrooms.

Le Prunier gite is almost finished and ready to receive guests for this weekend! Le Prunier is available for all of June and the only weeks remaining in the peak season are 2-9th July, 23rd-30th July and 20th-27th August. September is all free.
