We are taking bookings for 2024 for our Cottage.

If you are thinking of a holiday in the beautiful South West of France. Come to Chirac/Chabanias, there are lots of activities in the area and some beautiful Chateau's, towns and villages to visit.

Dugal Cottage is located in the main grounds of La Vigne des Enfants, there are 5.5 acres of garden for you to enjoy and Dugal Cottage has it's own fully enclosed secure garden with bbq (1 bag of charcoal and fire lighters provided), gazebo and sunbathing facilities (coming soon for Summer 2024 private pool, in the secure garden of the Cottage).

Free wifi is available, apps are available on the 65" Television.

The property has an open plan lounge, kitchen and diner, with three bedrooms. The master bedroom is located on the first floor with kingsize bed, also on the first floor is a twin bedroom with two full size single beds and dressing area, the ground floor bedroom has a double bed. All bedrooms have wardrobes (with plenty of coat hangers for adult and children’s clothes), chest of draws and bedside cabinets for clothes storage. All bedding is included.

Air cooling units are provided in each room, for the warmer months. Electrical wall heaters are provided for the cooler months.

The bathroom is located on the ground floor for easy access with electric towel rail. (hot water is available 24/7.) Towels are included for all guests. Toilet roll is also provided for the duration of your stay.

The washing machine is located in the laundry area in the house and washing machine detergent/softener are provided. There is a clothes rack and outside line for drying clothes.

The kitchen is fully functional, for that home from home feel, with hob, oven, pots and pans, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, blender and coffee machine. Crockery, cutlery, glassware are provided for both indoor and outdoor use. Washing/cleaning detergent, kitchen wipes and kitchen towels are provided.

We cater for young children, the following equipment can be provided. Cot (normal wooden coat, sleep up cot, or travel cot), changing mat, gates for the top and bottom of the stairs, high chair, baby bath (with baby towels), potty, toilet seat and appropriate toys for indoor and outdoor use.

A welcome pack is provided on arrival which includes fruit, bread, cheese, ham, butter, jam, milk, orange juice, bottle water, choice of tea and coffee, sugar, wine and beer, (there may be some changes depending on time of arrival of guests to suit their needs).

The beautiful inground relaxing pool (12m x 7m) is available daily between 9am and 8pm. Pool towels are provided for all guests.

In the two communal outdoor spaces, summer house and roof terrace, there is seating, a hot tub (available upon request, lets us know at time of booking if you wish to use this during your visit as it is cleaned and prepared for each visitor), 55" television with Wii, pool table, darts, board games, outdoor games, table tennis, home multi-gym and cross trainer.

We are dog friendly, subject to request. Maximum two dogs and there may be additional charges. Dogs are not to be left alone in the house at anytime. (Coming this summer two secure external dog kennels with covered area, where you can leave your dog(s) for short periods of time during the day, with the permission of the owners).

Between 1st March to 30th June 2024 the nightly rate is 150 euros, we have an annual rate increase happening from 1 July 2024 and the rate will be 180 euros until 30th June 2025 for up to six persons (that number includes any children plus one baby) baby cot and bedding 5 euros per night. (We charge a flat rate, we do not change our prices just because it is the school holidays.)

Unfortunately we had to have this beautiful tree cut down as it was to close to the house. So just before Christmas we donated it to our locate commune Chabanais and they incorporated into their Christmas display.
