With weather and prices on everybody's minds at the moment seems worth pointing out that we are spot on our average July temperatures at the moment, around 25-28 degrees. Local restaurants are still offering 3 course weekday lunches for 15-17 euros, and we have 4 supermarkets in town, including Aldi and Lidl.

When an ornithologist comes to stay, and finds Black Redstarts nesting in the poolhouse... Also spotted during the week, kestrels, harrier, hoopoo. Abundant nature 2km from town centre.

Breaking news:- We say that Civray is 10 minutes away by bicycle. First ride to the boulangerie this year - 8 minutes (11 minutes back, there is a gentle rise).

Nouvelle année et nouveau réseau. Cette semaine, Chez Robineau a rejoint le réseau de la fibre optique. Dites adieu au Wi-Fi mobile, ne vous souciez plus de la météo ou de la capacité du réseau.
Nous nous réjouissons d'accueillir nos anciens et nouveaux clients en 2022 (lorsque le printemps arrive).

New year, new news. This week we have been connected to Civray's new fibre broadband network. Bye-bye mobile broadband, you were good when you worked, but now we needn't worry about about music festival attendees taking all the signal :-)

We look forward to welcoming guests old and new in 2022, when it gets a bit warmer...

We're pleased to see that we have flights scheduled this summer from Stansted, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds Bradford and Dublin to Poitiers or Limoges, our two nearest airports. Flights starting between this month and July depending on destination. Or lots of our guests just drive, less than 15 minutes from the dual carriageway N10.
