Cote Sud, a comfortable provencal Gite in a peaceful and delightful location in the Drome.
We bought Cote Sud 10 years ago and have made it into a wonderful place to spend a restful holiday among the rolling hills and lavender fields of the Drome, near to Clansayes. The Gite has 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The lounge/dining room has a splendid open fireplace, making it very cosy in winter, and the kitchen is fully equipped with an island and stools. In the summer, relax on the large terrace with a glass of local wine under the vine. Cook a great meal using the barbecue and enjoy the lovely sunsets in the south-facing garden. Take a dip to cool off in the private, heated pool, and play boule on the boulodrome. Our gite is ideally located to visit the castles, towns and villages of the Drome Provencale and Vaulcuse. Chateauneuf du Pape, with its fabulous wines, is just a 40 minute drive, with Vaison la Romaine about the same distance. Closer to home is Gignan, with its amazing castle, and the lovely market town of Saint Paul, where you’ll find your morning baguettes and croissants.
