🎖️80th anniversary DDAY celeberations continued over the weekend🎖️

💃Label West is proud to have sponsored the 4th edition of the Swing Festival throughout this years 80th DDAY anniversarycelebrations. This special event brought together the vibrant energy of the 1940s with the spirit of remembrance and celebration for the liberation of Europe all those years ago. 🪖

🫡The events were graced with the presence of centennial and WWII Veteran Reg Pye of the Royal Enginners from Burry Port in Camarthenshire UK who cleared mines following the DDAY landings. 💥

👨‍✈️Our clients had the unique opportunity to spend time with the experts form the Spitfire Visitor Centre who brought down their stunningly restored Mark IX Spitfire for the celebrations while the 1940s atmosphere echoed with the perfect musical back drop as DJ Swing Maniac filled the air with the nostalgic tunes of the 1940s. 🛩️

We're always honored to sponsor events that not only entertain but also pay homage to significant moments in history.

It's with a heavy heart that the entire team at Label West bids goodbye to our dear friend and colleague Bruno who passed away earlier this week.

Passionate about guiding and exchanging ideas, infinitely generous, funny and deeply sincere...just a few of the many qualities that defined our dear Bruno.

You shall be sorely missed.

Low season? Who said there was a low season? 😄
All year round, at Label West, we are moving, creating, training but above all, smiling!

Last week, it was Luke from our Normandy office who travelled to the South West to explore more deeply the three areas that we cover there i.e Bordeaux and surroundings, Dordogne and the Basque Country. Hosted by our regional manager Jérôme and one of our guides, Mathieu, Luke, in charge of our Experiences Program, got back to Normandy with lots of new and secret hidden gems!

In the Loire Valley, the new guides were kindly pampered by our senior team: Aurélie, Rémi and Cécilia.

After visiting a new castle on the way from Paris to Caen, our Normandy team gathered around a table and enjoyed a nice meal all together.

And cheers too to Ingrid, Charlène and Stéphanie from Normandy who, at that time, were enjoying a nice Friday girly lunch while Géraldine from Provence was (not in the Caribbean!) strolling on Porquerolles island.

Look at all those happy faces at Label West! A nice way to highlight our dear guides as yesterday we were celebrating the International Day of Licensed Guides

Our team of guides is growing!
Label West is currently hiring and training new talents that will operate in all our regions: Normandy, The Loire Valley, Brittany, Bordeaux and Provence.
Under a beautiful sun, they enjoyed two days of integration in Normandy to meet our office team and exchange with our experienced guides.
Head to Omaha Beach and The American Cemetery to plunge into Normandy’s deep history and heritage and also concretely appreciate the fascinating job of qualified guide.
A great moment to understand and share our team values and spirit.

🪂🎖Under a bright blue sky, with a light sea breeze, Label West joined the commemorative events for those who gave their lives 79 years ago to the day at the British Memorial at Ver-sur-Mer🛩💂‍♂️

Every year countless veterans from around the world make the annual pilgramage to the shores of Normandy to pay homage to their friends, families and fellow countrymen and women who made the ultimate sacrifce all those years ago so that we might live in a free world without prejudice.
🌎👩🏽‍🤝‍🧑🏻👩🏻‍🤝‍🧑🏿👩‍👦‍👦👨🏼‍🤝‍👨🏻👩‍👩‍👦‍👦👨🏽‍🤝‍👨🏼👨‍👩‍👦👫🌏

This year saw French President Emmanuel Macron visit what became the heart of logistical operations during the battle for Normandy - the famed artifical port "mulberry" at Arromanches and the recently renovated DDAY museum 🛳📦

--Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them. --

2023 has had an incredible start for us here at Label West and in case you missed it (we don't know how) we've been hard at work setting up our brand new office Provence. 🗺

Now it's time for us to pull back the curtain and introduce you to Géraldine SFEIR 🥳

West Provence.

I love Provence and what I love even more is sharing my corner of France with people from all walks of life. Provence is such a versatile region with something for everyone and since I landed here my
motto has been “leave no stone unturned!”.

Finally after joining Label West I can channel my local knowledge into crafting bespoke experiences, taking guests off the beaten path and showing them what I consider to be the real Provence. "

It’s been 10 incredible years since Label West’s first inception and so it was the perfect occasion to unite our teams from all across France, bringing them back to the place where it all started on the coast of Normandy to celebrate this incredible milestone.

Label West is above all a family and it is founded upon the people within that family. We would like to thank them for their flexibility, charisma and boundless passion for creating unforgettable, bespoke experiences on a daily basis.

As always, we endeavour to respond to the growing demand for our services and in direct response to the feedback from so many of our partners over the years we’ve expanded into the Loire Valley, to West into Brittany and all the way down South to Bordeaux.
