Started in 1996, at Ski Magic we specialise in offering catered chalet holidays in the Courchevel village resorts of Le Praz and La Tania – both known for offering great value and easy access to the enormous Three Valleys. Owner run by John and Clare, with over 20 years of experience in the Three Valleys (both in offices and on the pistes) we are on hand to help with your pre-booking arrangements and in-resort questions.

Strip off the ski gear and head to the chalet dining table where fresh 🥖baguettes, 🍓jam, butter and a sweet treat have been patiently waiting your arrival. All you need to do is pop the kettle on and tuck in.

❄️ Good news for families!

The system of family ski passes where everyone pays the kids’ price WAS for 2 adults and 2+ children.

This year we have had an announcement from the lift pass company that family pass pricing is NOW for:

✅ 1+ adult and and 1-6 children
✅ Minimum of 3 people in the group.

👍So 1 parent can ski with 2-6 children, or 2 adults can ski with 1 child = much more flexible for families!

And there’s more…

‘Children’ are now aged 5-18! (Previously kids aged 13+ were classed under adult price) so no more excuses for leaving the teenagers at home 😉

How do you even begin to pronounce that, we hear you cry?

Well, it's “Shoolo Doo”. And it takes its name from the iconic 1970s Le Praz Hotel.

But you can't say there's anything 1970s about this chalet. It has splashes of colour, stripped back beams, gorgeous bedrooms and fabulous stone walls in the kitchen and dining room for those cosy, candlelit evenings in. 🍷

Ski holidays are not all about the skiing...

Taking time to relax in a beautiful space, soak up the mountain views and linger over afternoon as the sun sets is all part of the magic.

And our new Chalet Chez Mamie, with its reclaimed wood and vintage styling, is a perfect place to enjoy all these things. It sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms and is a short walk from the main 6-minute gondola, giving you direct access to the entire Three Valleys ski area.

Courchevel Le Praz has a loyal following of skiers who appreciate the more 'authentic', French side of Courchevel. This cute snowy village is low rise, surrounded by pine forest and is home to ski instructors and locals who you'll meet in its many buzzing bars and restaurants.

Thursday night is Raclette Night! 🧀

Your chalet hosts will set the table, prepare the raclette cheese slices, the cold meats, boiled potatoes, salad and some extra veggies like pepper, courgette and mushroom, so you can tuck into a hearty alpine feast.

Never had a raclette before? Here's how it works:

🧀 Take a slice of cheese, pop it onto your tray and slide it into the machine...

Now wait... Take a sip of wine 🍷, help yourself to salad 🥗 potatoes🥔 salami, cured ham, then pop a few veggies onto the top of the machine to sizzle for a few minutes. 🫑

👀Now peek at your melting cheese slice. Do you like it gently bubbling or can you wait a little longer until it's starting to go crispy and golden around the edges? Don't leave it too long at any rate - the cheese should slowly ooze from the tray (encouraged by your wooden scraper) onto your potatoes and veggies.

🍽 Eat and repeat!
