Organise a one-day visit, see the Louvre museum, shop on the Champs Elysées, have tea at Ladurée, climb up the Eiffel Tower, etc. You can go to the sea-side: Deauville, Trouville, Cabourg. Vvisit the D-day beaches, go for a pilgrimage to Lisieux, go to the Norman townd of Rouen, admire the famous Bayeux tapestry (http://www.tapisserie-bayeux.fr/index.php?id=1&=&L=1), spend a day at the exceptional Mont-Saint-Michel (http://www.ot-montsaintmichel.com/index.htm?lang=en). Regarding the swimming pools, there is a great one 25km away from Courtomer called Cap'Orne: http://www.guide-piscine.fr/orne/piscine-le-cap-orne-a-l-aigle-435_P, where there are some of the biggest slides in Europe, as well as two swimming pools - indoor and outdoor - a bowling, a restaurant, whirlpool bath, hamam and a sauna.

⚠️ Changement de programme pour la présentation des chevaux percherons mâles
En raison d'un grand nombre de chevaux percherons mâles engagés (102), la section des mâles âgés de 3 ans et la section des mâles âgés de 4 ans et plus seront présentées aux juges jeudi 26 septembre à partir de 16h dans la cour d'honneur.
Les mâles âgés de 2 ans seront jugés vendredi 27 septembre dans la cour d'honneur (83 engagés).
L'affiche a été modifiée en fonction de ces nouvelles informations.

Today's Letter from Elisabeth...Summer among the paint pots - Our nieces and nephews debarked at the Chateau, bringing country music and a strong southern Virginia work ethic. ⚠️ Festival L'Appel de la Liberté 2024 : le concert « La folie des années 80 part en live » et le feu d'artifice auront lieu au Pôle international de sports équestres du Haras national du Pin.

Compte-tenu de l’affluence, mais aussi des conditions météo, le Président du Conseil départemental, Christophe de Balorre, a décidé, en concertation étroite avec le Préfet de l'Orne, les Services de l’État et du Département, de déplacer le concert de la soirée et le feu d’artifice.

Objectif 👉 assurer le bon déroulement des festivités et privilégier, en priorité, la sécurité et le confort du nombreux public attendu.

Tous les autres rendez-vous au programme de cette journée du samedi 24 août sont maintenus sur le site du Mémorial de Montormel, dès 11 h. 👍
