The Gallery Brocante (as seen on Channel 4's "Chateau DIY") will be open from 10-5 each day. La Toussaint – all Saints Day - 1st November

The first of November is All Saints' Day. It is a catholic holy day and in France it's a public holiday and a time when families visit cemeteries to remember and honour their deceased relatives.
The word 'Toussaint' is an abbreviation of 'Tous les saints' and the day originated as a catholic festival to honour saints, those both known and unknown.
So what do people do on All Saints' Day also known as la Fete de la Toussaint? Being a national public holiday they do not go to work but rather traditionally spend the day visiting the graves of their family, attending church services, dining together or enjoying their short holiday break with their family.

Le Velo Violet
From 1st November the Velo Violet will revert to our winter opening days. The bar and restaurant will be open Thursday to Sunday, the brocante will open Friday to Sunday.

Throughout winter a traditional roast lunch will be served on Sunday with fish & chips, chicken piri piri or steak will be available every Friday. A menu du jour will be available at other times.

Reservations for meals are necessary due to the limited size of the building and to comply with the current Covid 19 regulations.
