I know self praise is no praise but today with some warp speed training, bucket full of support and little bit of luck , my fledgling part time career of selling houses for Beaux Villages in this gorgeous part of South West France...I completed the sale of my very first house.
Lovely couple from Brighton have just bought a 4 bed house (former bakery) with a lovely pool....just 20mins south of Bergerac.

Well what a Summer that was, night markets and events happening almost every night of the week. We now slow ourselves down for chillier nights and roaring fires with the wood burner and a maybe a glass of red wine....whats not to love.
King sized bed, a view over the vines....access to fresh produce markets and of course hundreds of local vineyards to try out and explore.
We still have availability for Autumn....and of course Summer 25 is now on sale.

13 June up to a week is our last available date in our 3 bed ( 1x king ensuite/double/twin) this Summer
Splash pool, sunset facing deck, why not go vineyard hopping, market exploring in the bastide towns, wine tasting or just switch off for a few days in the sunshine....or maybe even house hunting for 'a place in the sun'.
As we say goodbye to 2023 and welcome in 2024, we would like to thank you for all your support and visits....whether here in France or back in Cornwall. It means a huge amount that you've supported, shared or enjoyed our adventures.
May 2024 bring you joy and happiness.....there may be a few bumps in the road ahead, there may not, but the sun sets and rises again...and a new day.

The vines have done their job... .Will it be a vintage year?
Having spent our entire careers in the travel and tourism industry, we thought it would be a great idea to end our travels and try to put all our knowledge and experience into providing this wonderful property and its legacy of fabulous service and breakfasts with another twist yet maintaining everything great that has been created so far.
This 16th Century structure, now known as Penvith Barns, and its glass covered mystical smugglers tunnel is in a rather delightful spot on the South East Cornish coast, that we now call home. (You can read more about the history here).
Along with our two dogs Rocky and Beany, our chickens, who lay some of the tastiest eggs, and sheep, including the hand reared Bonnie and Clyde, who just love to be hand fed (especially by guests - who always seem to give a little extra), it's certainly a change from our old 'office' jobs.
With views across the rolling fields and valley to Looe and the short walk to the South West coastal path that leads to the year round dog friendly beach at Seaton, with its pubs and cafes or the people only beach at Millendreath and its beach cafe only a short walk away, it certainly has a great feel to it and so many guests before feel it too, judging by the amazing reviews.
