Rare ‘blue supermoon’ will be visible this evening throughout most of France from 18:26h. It will continue to rise and will be clearly visible just after sunset (around 21:00h).
Light pollution can impact visibility, so ideally find a rural spot without street lights and for the best view use a telescope or binoculars.

Established in 1971, the 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 was created to commemorate the 750th anniversary of the town of 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝘀-𝘀𝘂𝗿-𝗖𝗶𝗲𝗹.
Since then, every July, shows take place featuring the sound of horses’ hooves on the ancient streets, accompanied by tambourines, bagpipes, lutes, fiddles, and oboes. And all set against a backdrop of majestic, time-worn buildings. 🎻 🎶
As well as the town's residents, the festival is attended by fire-eaters, troubadours, jugglers, falconers, musicians, knights, fair ladies, and peasants all wearing medieval costumes. During the Grand Falconer’s Medieval Festival there are camps, torch-lit processions day and night, short plays, concerts, dancing, fire shows, plus children’s games and activities. 🃏
This year the festival takes place on 𝟭𝟯𝘁𝗵 & 𝟭𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆, so make sure you set aside some time in your holiday planner to 𝘨𝘰 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 and experience this wonderful event! 🥳
