BREAKING NEWS! An alpine rollercoaster is under construction in Les Gets - Page Officielle and it’ll be open all year around! There’ll be 35 sledges , a 714-metre descent spanning 105 metres of altitude difference in the Perrieres sector and the ride lasts almost six minutes! How cool is that???? Chapeaux Les Gets! 👌 (photo for illustration purposes, not the actual Les Gets alpine coaster 😝)

🔴 TRAVEL UPDATE: Because there’s never a dull moment where COVID is concerned (even on a Friday evening), the French government have tonight scrapped the testing requirements to enter the country for fully-vaccinated travellers.

This change comes into force at midnight tonight.

Note that in France, fully-vaccinated for the purposes of travel is defined as two vaccinations plus a booster jab within 9 months of your second jab for everyone aged 18 years and over.

Travellers aged up to 18 years continue to travel under the vaccination status of their accompanying parents or guardians, regardless of their vaccination status.

So, finally, you can now travel between the UK and France without any need to take a COVID test. HAPPY FRIDAY!
