- Bio Production, hand picked, fermented in oak barrels at 18C for a maximum sugar/acidity balance. The ageing lasts 6 months in oak barrels.
- Beautiful complexity and harmonious balance between sweetness and freshness. Notes of pineapple, vanilla and quince.
- Recommended as an aperitif with foie gras and blue cheese.

The local chefs recommend a salad with a warm Rocamadour goats cheese and a drizzle of honey 🍯 As a main, duck magret or truffle omelet with sauté potatoes 😋 For dessert, a fruit salad with sweet strawberries from Beaulieu and juicy melon du Quercy 🍓or a delicious pie with apples from the Limousin 🍎

Montravel belongs to Bergerac appellation on the most western sides bordering with Bordeaux (St Emilion). Unique microclimate from the river Dordogne, and it’s demanding clay soil (dating back prehistoric times), chateau Moulin Caresse has one exceptional, exquisite taste. “Cent pour 100” 2016 - is simply superb! Blackcurrants and toasted prunes are predominant with beautiful structure, balanced tannins, long delicate finish and the whole experience is coated with freshness.
