Le Foulon Le Foulon c'est un location saisonniere, pour deux nuits en hiver (parfait pour un anniverasaire) ou VILLA RENTAL OR BED AND BREAKFAST?

For most of the summer Le Foulon gets booked up by the week with groups of friends and family looking for more than your average villa with a pool. What we have over the competition is space to breathe, with 9 bedrooms with their own bathroom, vast amounts of lounging space, a library, double height conservatory and 15 acres of double river frontage. You are also let loose in a semi-commercial kit

chen that is a joy to use when catering for a number of people. You can rent Le Foulon like this anytime of the year, but in the Spring, Autumn and Winter we mostly get bed and breakfast clients looking for a quiet few days eating well, sleeping well and exploring this rich corner of the World. When we are in bed and breakfast mode we offer our resident guests a full restaurant and bar service (not to passing trade) and you can basically treat us like a hotel. The swimming pool is heated and is generally open between the start of April and the end of October. Having lived a busy former life in London, and as owner managers, we like to think we offer the kind of personal service we loved to find on holiday way back when. Hopefully you'll want for nothing but at the same time feel like you are at home, or staying with some good friends who won't let you lift a finger. So we offer informal luxury that appeals to like-minded people of all ages, and despite the cliché a lot of friendships have been formed over a drink or two or a long meal round the dining table.

A 3 week August booking had to cancel - so for the first time since we opened in 2005 we have late summer availability. We're offering a 20 percent discount, or more if you'd like to book more than a week. So if you're still looking for a group holiday between 12th August and the 2nd September please be in touch for a personal quote.

FYI we no longer live in the main building, but in a separate house in garden.

Beautiful walk to the top of the Courmettes mountain yesterday - this is the peak between us and the Mediterranean. Most of the rooms have a view down to the valley to the Courmettes, and looking back you can see the Foulon, a tiny white dot at the base of the Cheiron Mountain.

Something for our summer clients to look forward to - local lamb spit roast on an open fire. France is coming out of lock down from 11 May, with a recommendation that restaurants and bars could open by the end of May for departments like ours that have had a very low incidence of the virus.

20 minutes drive into the hills and you are at the little ski station of Gréolières les Neiges - stunningly beautiful, with views of the whole Cote d'Azur from the top (an hours walk) and the Mercantour park to the north that borders Italy. Now you can hire an electrically assisted mountain bike; what a fantastic day out (don't forget your pic-nic, but don't feed the Marmottes).

VILLA RENTAL FROM JUST 2 NIGHTS

For most of the summer Le Foulon gets booked up by the week with groups of friends and family looking for more than your average villa with a pool. What we have over the competition is space to breathe, with 13 bedrooms (10 with en suite bathrooms), vast amounts of lounging space, a library, double height conservatory and 15 acres of double river frontage. You are also let loose in a semi-commercial kitchen that is a joy to use when catering for a number of people. You can rent Le Foulon like this anytime of the year, for a week in the wummer, a weekend, and in the Winter we’re now offering 2 night stays - so you have no excuse not to come and celebrate a birthday, a special occaison or simply life itself. The swimming pool is heated and is generally open between the start of April and the end of October and is fully fenced with a child-proof lockable gate. Having lived a busy former life in London working in the tourism industry, and as owner managers, we like to think we’ve created a house rental that’s a cut above the rest. All the facilities are super-sized to make group holidays a joy. And with enough space for everyone to lose themselves in before coming togather for meals around one large table, indoors or outdoors, you’ll leave refreshed, relaxed and brimming with life-long memories.
