Day 6 and our guests headed out to Brantome this morning to enjoy the market and a have wonder around it’s beautiful streets and enjoy a coffee. An afternoon ride to Montagrier for a quick drink and to check out our local Château
Montardy, on the way home. Final meal of the week , roasted camembert, poached cod with a caper Ju finished off with a french tart.
What a great week with lovely guests and fabulous weather. Looking foward to the next one .

Day 5 a lovely ride up to Bertrice Buree for coffee the guests then too a trip to see the beautiful town of Perigueux, ending the day with prawn cocktail, pealla, and chocolate fondant. 😊

Day 4 with a lovely ride to Bordeilles , with a spot of lunch then later our guest enjoyed a warm goat cheese salad, followed by seared Tuna with a cucumber relish finished off with a delicious strawberry meringue with a sprinkle of chocolate sauce. Yummy

Day 1 of our Cycling Retreat. Lovely gentle cycle out with our lovely guests, stop for coffee in Montagrier. Finishing their day with
Some local fois gras, confit duck and delicious pud. One of them celebrating a special birthday telling me they’ve had a wonderful day.

From first booking to taking the holiday was 2.5 years (thanks COVID)but it was worth the wait. The secluded farmhouse was text book cosy, the swimming pool a picture and our hosts could not have been more hospitable. We opted for half board and were rewarded with laden breakfast tables and wonderful plentiful dinners. Lizette and Craig looked after us from start to finish of each day, guiding us on different cycle routes, each ride ending with tea, cake and cold beer! The week was everything we hoped it would be, and more
