🌟 Pour cette occasion historique, l’établissement public du Mont Saint-Michel et le Centre des Monuments Nationaux célèbrent la splendeur de ce lieu mythique avec un projet unique, mettant en lumière la beauté formelle et monumentale de la cité, confié aux équipes Les Ateliers BK.

🌙 Le Mont Saint-Michel se découvre, dévoilant une esquisse lumineuse des mille années précédentes. Ce spectacle immersif redéfinit l’espace-temps jusqu’au Solstice du Millénaire en illuminant ce joyau nique au monde.

Jardin des Plantes d'Avranches, less than 20 minutes from Les Basses Beaulinges.
This garden, where tourists and locals stroll all year round, is open every day, except on stormy days. This green space is one of the historical monuments of Avranches. It was first enclosed by a Capuchin monastery.

Elf flower, osmanthus, little periwinkle, heather, camellias, rhododendrons, sequoia, chestnut oak, horse chestnut, Irish yew, forty-crore tree, Himalayan cedar, the plant garden offers, in all seasons, a trip around the world. A botanical journey through the trees, shrubs and plants that have taken root here, some of them for ages.

Don’t miss the balcony overlooking the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, the plant garden offers a remarkable view of the Mont and the meanders of the Sée.

Just outside the garden is the Notre-Dame-des-Champs church which is a magnificent neo-Gothic building built between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. Heavily affected by the Allied bombardments during World War II, it was reconstructed identically in the years that followed.

Important pilgrimage centre from the 8th to 18th century, the Benedictine Abbey of Mont Saint-Michel is a remarkable example of medieval architecture which is both military and religious. You will be enthralled by the abbey church, the cloisters, the refectory and the monks' promenade. In summer, see a different facet of the abbey, watching the night fall during a nocturnal visit accompanied by sound and light… A must see!

A very nice recognition!
Our town of Ducey-Les Chéris just 6 minutes away from us has been ranked 4th in the department, among the towns and villages of 2000 to 3500 inhabitants, where life is good.

This ranking is based on a list of 183 criteria, including: quality of life, safety, shops and services, transport, health, education, sports and leisure activities, etc...
Of course, not everything is perfect, but we can only be delighted with this distinction.

Well despite being considerably down on bookings in 2020 due to COVID-19, our marvellous guests who managed to come between lockdowns really enjoyed themselves resulting in us achieving another 9.7 out of 10 for The Barn and 9 out of 10 for The Cabin on Booking.com, and it was the 1st year that we used Booking.com on The Cabin . A huge thank you to all our guests and we look forward to welcoming old and new guests in 2021. COVID-19 allowing.
