Our Story

Welcome to Meadow View Gîtes, our 2 large holiday cottages are located in the beautiful village of Janaillat, in the Creuse department of France, with picturesque views, quiet country lanes and steeped in history and wildlife.

Our two very spacious 4 Bedroomed, fully equipped, family friendly holiday cottages in the rural village of Janaillat, with Heated Pool & amazing views.

The Creuse region is known as the “Lake District” of France, and has some stunning scenery and wonderful lakes to be enjoyed by all pursuits (walking, cycling, watersports or simply photography). The laid back nature of the Creuse is a perfect location for you to relax and chill-out, forgetting the stresses of everyday life.

Bryan & Jane have been running the gîtes for 10 years now, we look forward to meeting new guests & welcoming back returning ones, and we love to share our knowledge and experience of places to visit and can recommend several restaurants for you to try!
