Interceptor has now had its first 1000k service followed by a little bimble along the coast to Binic and St Quai with Paul and Vanessa , then called into to see friends Ian and Jane . They have a beautiful early 30’s MG that had been the hands of its original owner from new until his death in 1987 . He had carefully written down everything that had been changed or done to the car in the time of his ownership . The car is superb. Interesting to see two famous old English brands side by side MG and RoyalEnfield - both now owned by Asian companies

Jezz and Sharon getting ready to leave after two weeks in Burlaouen. I took the opportunity to try Jezzs Guzzi back to back with my interceptor and my Guzzi Nevada. New Guzzi has more engine punch with its 850 engine over the Enfields 650. Both handled really well but on the whole the Enfield came out on top for me as the riding position of the Guzzi just too low for my long legs. Good to try the modern Guzzi against its older self in the form of my Nevada. The Nevada felt very agricultural against the new version. Lots of character though and good to be able to have both New 650 Interceptor and Old 750 Nevada . Thanks Jezz.

Storm damage clearing continues - no animals were injured in the making of this video - or humans .

Trip to Noz - effing good wine stock replenished. Plus pims orange chocolate biscuits , wire cable and straps . Still had change from €30.

Went round to Le Kerpert Bar /Resto to see how Steff and Marie were. No electricity - no meals. Steff called us in and offered us a crepe and coffee- I had to grind the coffee. A few others called in . A good time and fine welcome was had by all. Thanks Steff and Marie

Lane cleared .

Continuing on a nature theme . Me and the Boys walked Steve and Simon back to the cabin last night . On the way we kept coming across salamanders . Combination of warmth and rain make idea conditions for them to come out . Altogether I counted 17 including the two that Steve videoed . Beautiful little creatures. I’ve never seen so many in one go.

Excellent anti burglary device for when we go away . A green organic solution to unwanted thieves. Tie one end of a cord around the nest and the other around the door handle .

Just one of our superb mountain rides in Majorca. Soller to Villamosa .

Sadly we didn’t go to Colombres due to the uncertainty over my health . As it’s turned out I’m fine and so we decided to go to Majorca with good friends Paul and Vanessa. Maintaining the Spanish theme. We hired moto Guzzi V7s for 3 days and explored the northern mountain side of the island . Fantastic rides.
