Il est peut-être encore tôt ... mais bonne nouvelle pour les amateurs de cyclisme et les touristes de passage cet été puisque le Tour de France 24 fera étape dans notre région avec, entre autres, une arrivée à Villeneuve Sur Lot et un passage à Monflanquin!!

When your guests have a problem and tell you straight away (2pm Sunday) the water wouldn't turn off on the solar pool shower!!
Of course Andy attempted to fix straight away but alas it wasn't fixable on site without a trip to Brico(everything closed on Sundays).Fast forward to this morning we were at the pool shop before they opened the shutters, new shower purchased and installed by 11am.

Oh the ravages of winter and early spring storms. Plus other half being out of action so just no time. So preparations for the start of the season begins. Luckily first guests are close friends who will help ready and bring Gite à Cournut to life Jamiee Bond , Julie Hewitt etc etc

Top 3 most beautiful villages in the lot et garonne, Monflanquin is 8km from Gite Cournut, Villareal is approximately 12km and Pujols (a stunning hidden gem) is approximately 30 minutes drive.
We have bookings left in June and July, from mid July to early September we are now fully booked!!!

Le Lot-et-Garonne est connu pour son tourisme rural et fluvial, ses châteaux , ses bastides , ses grottes , mais aussi pour sa joie de vivre et notamment sa gastronomie , ses golfs et bien entendu ...

The house is spacious and airy, with a lovely swimming pool and comfortable beds. It is very well equipped and the owners could not have been more helpful and accommodating. They were very responsive, with great communication. We highly recommend this gite, in fact we are very likely to stay there again!"

A few pictures after some pool maintenance yesterday, because of the very dry weather the trees are constantly shedding leaves so Andrew Smith is always on the case without disturbing our guests

Just a few more photos, only a few weeks left in July and September left October is still free but obviously can't guarantee it'll be as warm and please remember the pool is unheated although it's a lovely 28° in there at the moment
