Enjoy the best of both worlds; 3 acres of peace and tranquility yet just a short stroll to the bars, restaurants and shops of one of France’s designated “Petites Cités de Caractère®”

Our two gîtes share a magnificent 10m x 5m in ground pool, and can be booked individually or as a whole, perfect for extended families or a small group of friends.

[ 🎵STREET BAND FESTIVAL 2024☀️]

Les rues du Dorat vont une nouvelle fois résonner au son de la musique de rue, le temps d'un week-end !

Voici l'affiche de la 2ᵉ édition du Street Band Festival ☀️

Pour ceux qui n'auraient pas suivi, pour marquer la fin de l'aventure du groupe, nous avons décidé d'organiser une seconde fois un festival de musique au cœur du Dorat. Le but ? Rassembler une partie de nos amis musiciens rencontrés ces 14 dernières années dans un festival qui nous ressemble 💛

Depuis déjà plusieurs semaines, le bureau de l'association travaille d'arrache-pied pour mettre en place cette seconde édition et je vous promets qu'elle va être particulièrement exceptionnelle !

Alors rendez-vous les 13 et 14 septembre prochain au Dorat pour un week-end inoubliable ✌️

Tenez-vous prêts, on vous annonce le premier groupe très bientôt !!

The recent ´canicule’ brought clear skies and balmy nights, perfect for stargazing 🔭 Believe it or not these amazing photos were taken on a smartphone! Obviously it helps if there’s a great photographer behind it, and all credit to .crooks1 who took these incredible images 🩶 Check out the last two showing the original and the astrological overlay - superb! ⭐️🪐💫

A truly magical evening at Le cloître de l’ancien Carmel. Wonderful music and stunning lighting all set within the beautiful courtyard garden. Such a gem of a place hidden in the centre of Le Dorat. Hopefully more events to follow soon!
