Hei, siitä on aikaa, että olen viimeksi päivittänyt tätä sivua. Paljon on tapahtunut viimeisten parin vuoden aikana, mutten ole tiennyt kuinka paljon voin tai haluan asioista puhua. Tulin kuitenkin siihen tulokseen, ettei asioista puhuminen haittaakaan ja ehkä auttaa.
Pari vuotta sitten menetin pitkäaikaisen kumppanini, jonka kanssa ostimme tämän maatilan, sairaudelle. Nyt olemme tilanteessa, jossa olen menettämässä maatilani, koska kumppanini perilliset haluaisivat perintönsä mahdollisimman pian. Ainoa apu viralliselta taholta on ollut kehoitus myydä maatila. Pohdin pitkään, onko muita mahdollisuuksia ja päätin, etten voi antaa kaiken valua hiekkaan edes yrittämättä taistella. Tämä maatila on paikka, jonka valitsimme yhdessä, ostimme yhdessä ja jossa aioimme toteuttaa yhteisen unelmamme elää ja tehdä töitä maaseudulla. Maatilan sentimentaalinen arvo on minulle valtava. M***a sen lisäksi tämä paikka on edelleen se, missä haluan toteuttaa pitkäaikaisen unelmani : alkaa viljellä kukkia.
Katkokukkaviljely ja lähialueella tuotettujen, vuodenaikoja kunnioittavien kukkien ostaminen kaukaa tuotujen kukkien sijaan on nostamassa päätään myös Ranskassa. Siksi uskon, että suunitelmallani on tulevaisuus. Viljelymaan löytäminen taas on vaikeaa täällä. Kun minulla kerran on maata tässä, haluaisin jäädä tänne. Uuden paikan löytämiseen, muuttamiseen, virallisiin kuluihin jne. menisi enemmän varoja kuin mitä taloni myyminen toisi. Toisaalta jos myynti on ainoa mahdollisuus, käyttäisin kertyneet rahavarat muuttoon.
Siksipä avasin gofundme -rahankeräystilin, jonka linkki löytyy alta. Olen myös avoin kaikille muille avunannon ja tuen muodoille. Ja jos joku tahtoo tulla paikan päälle katsomaan ja nauttimaan Sevennien keväästä, on vierashuoneeni edelleen vuokrattavissa niin kauan kuin asun tässä. Etsin kaikki mahdolliset tavat kerätä kasaan ne varat, jotka tarvitaan tänne jäämiseen tai uuden paikan löytymiseen, realisoin osan omaisuudestamme, etsin lainoja, teen töitä kodin ulkopuolella.

Bonjour, cela fait un moment que je n'ai donné des nouvelles du Mas. Les événements des derniers temps ont été difficile et il m'a pris du temps d'accepter ce qui se passe et réagir face à ces événements. J'ai aussi eu du mal à décider si mes projets et mon action étaient valables mais je veux aujourd'hui vous expliquer ce qui se passe et ce que j'ai décidé de faire.
Il y a deux ans j'ai perdu celui qui était le fondement de ma vie, mon compagnon de plus de 15 ans. Ensemble nous avions acheté cette ferme dans le but de réaliser notre rêve de vivre et de travaillé à la campagne et cultiver ces terres. Malheureusement la maladie et le décès de mon compagnon a mis un coup d'arrêt à nos projets et aujourd'hui je risque de perdre la maison où je vis et les terrains à cultiver parce que les héritiers de mon compagnons veulent récupérer leur part de l'héritage.
Je désire pourtant rester habiter mon vieux mas et me lancer dans la culture des fleurs coupées. Le mouvement slow flower s'est développer avec la tendance de plus de production locale et de saisonnalité en France et c'est pour cela que je crois à mon projet de production des fleurs coupées dans les Cévennes. Je cherche donc aujourd'hui la possibilité de garder la ferme et lancer la production dès cet été.
Pour ce faire j'ai commencé par créer une cagnotte sur gofundme (lien en bas). Mais je ne vais pas me limiter à cela. Je chercherais à vendre une partie de nos biens, négocier un prêt et travailler en dehors de la maison et j'espère trouver de cette façon les moyens nécessaires. Et dans le cas où cela ne sera pas suffisant, j'utiliserai l’argent cumulé à me relocaliser et continuer mon projet ailleurs, en sachant qu'il me faudra plus que le produit de la vente pour faire face aux commissions, aux frais de notaires, de déménagement etc.
Je serai extrêmement reconnaissant à toute personne qui m'aidera sur ce chemin, par moyens financiers, des idées et des encouragements ou en partageant mon projet sur des réseaux sociaux. Et si vous voulez venir sur place et profitez du printemps dans les Cévennes je loue toujours ma chambre d'amis aussi long temps que je reste dans cette maison ! This is a long post, so I am making a post by language. Le texte en français plus loin.

Hello, I haven't been posting here for a long while. I am writing this post to explain a bit what is going on here at the moment. This is a hard post to write because I am normally not one to express my sentiments in public or to ask for help and of course because the events of the last two years have been utterly shocking and devastating to me.
We bought this farm together some years ago with my partner of 15 years to live our dream of living in the country and farm together on this land. Unfortunately he fell ill and died two years ago. I was still going to fulfill our plans, with the help of my friends but today the children of my partner would like to have their share of the inheritance and I need to find the ressources to buy my right to continue to live here and cultivate the land.
My plan at the moment is to start a cut flower farm because I would need less land for that and I will be able to sell part of the farm. I also love flowers and I firmly believe in the comeback of locally grown, saisonal flowers.
To help me find the sum necessary for staying on the farm I have opened a gofundme. I will of course in addition be doing whatever I can do to gather the money necessary, selling part of our assets, working outside the house, taking a loan etc. And if you would like to see for yourself and enjoy the spring in the Cevennes I will be letting my guest bedroom as long as I am staying in the Mas ! If ever staying isn't possible the sums collected will help me to relocate and continue the project somewhere else, knowing that though I will have my share of the sales, moving, legal fees and other commissions will take a big chunk of that money.

Hello my friends! this is the new kitchen floor. we hardly had the time to install everything before our new renters arrived. the appartment is now taken until next year and will be available again for longer or shorter periods from mid-february! and we have a washing machine now! 🛏 Chers amis, bonjour! voici de quoi a l'air le plancher de la cuisine maintenant. nous avons à peine eu le temps de tout installer avant l'arrivée de nos locataires. l'appartement est pris jusqu'en février prochain et sera de nouveau libre à la location de courte ou de longue durée à partir du mi-février. et nous avons une machina à laver maintenant! 🏡 Tervehdys, ystävät! tämän näköinen on nyt keittiön lattia. saimme juuri ja juuri kaiken paikoilleen ennen kuin vuokralaisemme saapuivat. huoneisto on vuokrattu nyt helmikuuhun asti ja vapaa lyhyempiä tai pitempiä vuokra-aikoja varten helmikuun puolivälistä. ja meillä on nyt myös pesukone!

it has been pretty silent on this page since we started work in the downstairs appartment. as it happens we need to consolidate the floor of the upstairs kitchen. at the same time we will do some refreshing in the two appartments. fortunately the weather is still warm. 👷‍♂️ cette page a été assez silencieuse depuis qu'on a commencé quelques travaux dans la maison. il a fallu mettre une barre pour consolider le plancher de la cuisine du premier. en même temps on fera quelques travaux de rafraichissement dans les deux appartements. heureusement il fait toujours beau. 👷‍♀️ täällä on ollut hiljaista sen jälkeen, kun aloitimme pikku remppaa talossa. pitää tukea ensimmäisen kerroksen keittiön lattiaa ja samalla tehdään muita pikku hommia. onneksi on edelleen kaunista.
