The village has a restaurant, a boulangerie, and pharmacie. A large number of the Loire chateau are reachable within an hour's drive: Villandry, Amboise, Chenonceau, Angers, Brézé, Brissac, Oiron, Tours, Langeais, Bougé, Chinon, Azay-les-Rideau, Montreuil-Bellay, and Saumur. A wide range of quality restaurants are available nearby. Thouars (Friday) and Saumur (Saturday) have delightful farmer's markets. Sundays you can take in the antique markets that rotate among local castle towns. There are many places for biking, hiking, and tasting the local wines.
