What fun did you get up to this Easter weekend? 🐣
We had perfect conditions to do some sightseeing here in Saint-Léon-Sur-Vézère. It’s only 15 minutes away from the Domaine.

This town is an oasis of tranquility in the touristic area of the Dordogne. The area around Saint-Léon has been inhabited since early ancient times, as excavations and caves with rock paints have shown. The village of Saint-Léon dates from the 4th century. The first written citations are under the name Sanctus Leonitus, hence the name Saint-Léon here.

Although the village is situated in the middle of the battlefield of the Hundred Years war, the village has maintained its original character very well!

Sarlat is certainly one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Europe with its picturesque alleys, monuments, and architecture dating back almost a thousand years!! 🕘🕙🕣

The paradise of delicous delicacies such as truffle, mushrooms, foie gras, sweets and cakes is not to miss. A must-see during your stay at La Comtesse! 🙌🏼

The maisons Belle Vue and Belle Vie are particularly suitable for larger groups as both of these houses have 3 bedrooms with double beds 💤

💧🌱 We know it’s pretty amazing that the Beune river flows through our Domaine, but did you know there’s also an impressive waterfall on the Domaine? It merges into the Vézère rivier further in the village Les Eyzies!
