The old and the new parked up at Forest Gîtes!

A 1929 Sunbeam and 2023 Volkswagon Buzz electric car. Crazy that there is 94 years between these two vehicles. Oh how things have changed.

We always try to accommodate request’s where we can. This weeks guests asked if it was possible for undercover parking so they could bring their vintage car. It was lovely to see this immaculate 1929 Sunbeam parked up at Forest Gîtes for the week.

The wisteria looks and smells amazing at the moment! The grass has all been cut and the strimming is all done. Love this time of year!

A busy day in the beautiful sunshine mowing all the grass and catching up on the strimming and weeding. The trees are starting to go green again and there is blossom in the orchard. Looks a bit cooler the next few days but been grateful for the warmth of the sun this week.

FOREST GÎTES - LA MAISON VERTE 💚

Our final gîte La Maison Verte is our second 2 bedroom gîte and sleeps up to 5 guests in a double room and a second bedroom with three single beds. It has an open plan fully equipped kitchen, lounge and diner and a large shower room. The gîte has french and English TV, DVD player and good WiFi. Opposite the gîte is a large covered barn with plenty of seating and a charcoal BBQ.

La Maison Verte is available from April to October with prices starting at 95€ per night. 7 nights in high season costs 850€.
