🎄🎄Christmas goodies workshop, Wednesday, 13th November. Lorignac 17240🎄🎄No sooner will we be saying boo to Halloween before we’ll be thinking of Christmas. To start off those preparations, we’ll be running an afternoon workshop offering you the opportunity to make and take home your own Christmas pudding, minced meat and pork pie. They are back.. The ‘Chefs Tables’, simply bringing people together that love good food, wine and socialising! We’ve had a busy summer at Logis de Tirac, but now the guests have gone, the leaves are falling and the nights are drawing in, we have some super lunch and dinner dates planned including some great ideas to celebrate Christmas and the New Year.

Starting off with Sunday lunches - Roast Beef & Yorkshire Puds on 27th October and 17 November - 40 euros, and a Chefs Table Dinner with a duck main course on Saturday, 2nd November at 45 euros. BYO wine.

In December we’ll be hosting Traditional turkey Christmas lunches on Sunday, 1st and 15th December and an evening Christmas Dinner on Thursday, 5th December - 42.50 euros.

If you’re looking for a special evening we are hosting a pre-Christmas Gourmet Dinner, 18th December and a New Year’s Eve dinner when accommodation is also available.

A new date for Chefs Supper Table on Saturday, 8 June. Lorignac, 17240.

We have a window of opportunity to host a Spanish themed Chefs Supper Table on Saturday, 8th June de Tirac before ‘les invites’ start to arrive for the summer. The evening will be warm, sun will be shining, maybe inside, perhaps out, the tapas will be tasty, the paella will an event of its own, and the company is guaranteed to be just as wonderful as always!

Pls message us if you would like to join us for an evening of Spanish food. The cost is 40 euros pp, bring your own Rioja or Cerveza 😊

If you're still planning your summer holiday, a cancellation has left Logis de Tirac with an available space for the last weeks of July and the first week of August. We offer flexible day check in/out so you don't have to travel on a Saturday with everyone else, and ferries to Caen or Dieppe are just between 5.5 - 7 hours drive to the house. The house has a wonderful sociable kitchen, 4 ensuite bedrooms and plenty of outside space including a private pool, making it just perfect for two families or an extended family to share. What's not to like? Message me to check out the dates we have free.

Since Andy has been a Chef since he was 16, and as many of you know, more latterly running a pub and restaurant in Dunstable, we thought we’d like to try something here that we did in the pub, the ‘Chefs table’. Simply bringing people together that love food and socialising.

To kick off, and to fill our large dining table with Charente Expats, we’d like to host some Sunday lunch dates at Logis de Tirac (Lorignac, 17240) and some evening suppers with a bit of a cooking demonstration and a few cooking tips thrown in, which may work well if you are a group of friends (up to 10). We also have four rooms all ensuite (we operate as a chambre d’hote) and a pool if you’d like to make it more of an occasion with an early check in or late check out. Please let us know if you’d be interested in coming along to join us for any of the above, or have an idea of your own.
