La Forge is located in the Manche department of Normandy in north-western France on the outskirts of the small village of Le Plessis Lastelle. It is situated in a rural countryside setting but only a short drive from several beautiful beaches. It is located between three traditional french market towns of La Haye du Puits, Périers and Carentan.
La Forge is ideal for family holidays, couples or larger groups, it is a lovely old flint built building surround by a large lawn garden with trees and a fish pond. Inside accommodation comprises of two double bedrooms, one ensuite and the third bedroom is set up as a kids room which can sleep 5-6 kids. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, lounge with sky TV, a formal dining room and downstairs family bathroom.
There is plenty of things to do in and around La Forge including walking, cycling, kayaking, swimming, shopping, D-Day museums and beaches and eating out at some great local restaurants, or if you prefer, you can just sit and relax in the garden.
Each year on Bastille Day we hold our annual La Forge fest for all our friends and family. We have camping in the garden, fancy dress, music and more wine, beer, cheese and baguettes than you can want!
