The nice weather has arrived and the birds are singing ...

October evening by the pool in rural France ... doesn't get much better

Welcome to Lozay and to La Miellerie, a nice place to spend your vacation and quality time with family and friends in the beautiful Charente-Maritime (thanks to Shannon for the video).

That's the garden well on the way to being sorted and pool just about ready for us to enjoy before our first gite guests in three weeks time .. forecast looks amazing for next couple of weeks 24-27 degrees and lots of sunshine .... life en France

A Perfect Location

Established in 2014, La Miellerie is the perfect location for a relaxing break from the mad world we live in these days. From Northern France about 300 miles and a 5 hour drive, relax in the beautiful Charente-Maritime by our heated swimming pool, listen to the sounds of the summer or within 45 minutes be on the beach. The town of Saint Jean d’Angely is less than 15 minutes away and provides all you need to compliment yopur stay at La Miellerie. Within an hour you can visit many beautiful locations including Cognac, Angouleme, Saintes, Royan and La Rochelle ... La Mielliere has been full each year since we opened with many repeat customers and the main holiday weeks are booked by the end of the previous year ... so what are you waiting for ....
