Gîte Les Fontanelles, Sarlat
Yesterday, my gites were « classés » as « immeubles de tourisme » by the Sarlat Tourist office.
The lady, Clare, was really helpful and made some suggestions for opening up the space. Today I took out the dining banquette, added one chair and moved one piece of furniture in the kitchen, which has really opened up the space.
Check out the former arrangement on AirBnB (before I update the photos!) and tell me what you think about the new layout!

Tour of the bedroom with the fantastic views from upstairs
Tour of the downstairs of my second gite
Just bought some more furniture for the second gite and have styled it up a bit. Very English in the French countryside.
I’m going to be in a channel 5 tv series following the lives of British people settled in France.
Episode 1 is on Sunday 10th October at 8pm BST, on Channel 5.
