Mayenne Gîtes is comprised of three properties Gite Chouette, Gite Faun and Gite Renard - which are adjacent to/near to our own home in the village of Chattemoue which is 3km from Javron les Chapelles in Pays de la Loire, France. Gîte Faun and Gîte Renard are currently undergoing refurbishment and so are not available to rent. The ground floor is comprised of 3 bedrooms (1 large double, 1 twin and
1 bunk) plus shower, toilet and hand basin. The first floor has an open plan lounge, fitted kitchen/dining area, a double bedroom and shower/toilet/hand basin. There’s double French window access to a balcony large enough for outside dining, offering lovely views of the countryside. Gîte Chouette has its own gravelled courtyard and off-road parking area, a trampoline, an outdoor bbq and wood burning pizza oven, a fire pit plus a pétanque court, as well as an outdoor dining area. There’s access to a secure, fenced lawned garden and a small deck with seating, plus a garden swing/banana slide/glider/see-saw and a wooden Wendy house for young guests. There’s also a secure walled/fenced outdoor swimming pool with deck area suitable for loungers and chairs (provided). We have several bicycles of various sizes available for guests to use and safety helmets plus a child seat for those too young to ride! The property has a (bottled) 4 ring & oven gas cooker plus microwave oven, fridge with freezer, electric kettle, coffee makers, toaster, electric grill/toaster oven, halogen oven etc and all crockery, cutlery, glassware, pans etc. It has a flat screen tv, dvd and substantial dvd collection, plus basic sky tv package. All bed linen, towels etc are provided. Two picnic hampers are provided for use by guests. We are based in a small village with open fields as well as specific "walks/cycling paths” and have lots of additional facilities (such as horse riding) close by. We are ideally placed to visit many local beauty spots and places of historical interest - as well as being a relatively short drive from Paris, Euro Disney, Le Mans, Mont St Michel etc. Pets are welcome (subject to prior agreement) at no extra cost!!!! The property is available to rent on a weekly basis : Saturday to Saturday : and also for short breaks of 4 days. Prices vary according to lengths of stay.
