FARMHOUSE
Set in 56 acres of private woodland and fields within the Perigord National Park, just outside the typical French village of Mialet, Dordogne.
Our Farmhouse is over 200 years old and has been lovingly restored keeping all original features. Sleeps 8, 4 bedrooms, 3 en-suite shower rooms. (The orange wall in the photos has gone)
Private swimming pool as well as use of a large heated outdoor communal swimming pool.
Exclusive use of seven persons Hot Tub.
Small Licensed Restaurant
Lots of on-site activities including boule, table tennis, table football, badminton, children’s swings, etc.
Just a short drive from the local village of Mialet which can easily cater for your basic needs for your holiday, the pretty village square has a small market on Tuesday mornings as well as a bakers, butchers, small grocery store and cafe, hairdressers, church and bar. Just a few more kilo meters away you will find larger supermarkets.
Idyllic surroundings, popular with walkers and cyclist, both on road and mountain biking. With Medieval towns, villages, chateaux, French markets, night markets, lots for everyone within the local area.

Looking for that little piece of quietness and tranquillity, boardering the River Dronne this quirky old stone house is just 5 mins walk from the village with bars, restaurants and shops. Situated in a sleepy small hamlet allowing you to rest and relax. The pictureque picnic/sunbathing area down by the river ideal for those long lazy days chilling out, paddling and tiddler bashing, what more could you want. Ma famille et moi avons passé une merveilleuse semaine (7 personnes dont 3 enfants de 8, 10 et 12 ans) au milieu dans cet espace de verdure, au calme. Il était bien agréable de trouver les tentes montées, les lits faits .... bref, comme dans un hôtel...., mais avec le côté original et nature de l'endroit. Les enfants ont adoré faire griller des chamallows au feu de bois et nous le confort du couchage ! A noter aussi que la piscine est toute proche (une centaine de mètres), qu'elle est grande et les abords particulièrement bien aménagés (transats, parasols, table...).
N'hésitez pas si vous voulez des vacances originales dans une région sympa, c'est un très bon choix !

My family and I had a wonderful week (7 people including 3 children 8, 10 and 12 years old) in the middle in this greenery space, quiet. It was nice to find the mounted tents, the beds made.... anyway, like in a hotel...., but with the original and nature side of the place. The kids loved grilling marshmallows at the wood fire and us the comfort of sleeping! It should also be noted that the pool is very close (a hundred meters), that it is large and the surroundings are particularly well appointed (deckchairs, sun umbrellas, table...).
Don't hesitate if you want an original vacation in a nice region, it's a very good choice!

We are looking for some volunteer workers to help with wood clearing and bike park trail building here in North Dordogne. If anyone loves the outdoors, interested in Mountain biking and making jump, trails, berms etc please contact us. Accommodation included (room with en-suite shower) all food included and lots of fun. We haven't posted much lately as we have be busy updating our website to include our new and exciting business adventures putting it all under one roof. So what have we been up to - firstly changed our name to - Holiday Hub France.

We now have FOUR fantastic holiday homes... two sleeping 8 and two sleeping 12, a private glamping campsite sleeping 6/8.... Hub bike park and Le Domestique licensed restaurant.
