Glamping Site In Auvergne
Cool Under Canvas offers a stylish and cosy glamping experience aimed at families, couples and small groups of cyclists and walkers. We have two furnished deluxe bell-tents, an elegantly furnished traditional yurt, as well as offering three touring pitches with electric hook-ups.
The campsite at Rochemaux, sits on a rise with fantastic views across the fields to hills beyond. In the other direction, the peak of Puy de Dôme rises up on the horizon.
Children will love our animal corner with goats, pigs and chickens. We also have a children’s play area, a small pool, a toilet and shower block, wash-up area and a small honesty shop.
We are in the commune of Miremont – the village itself with small shop is a 10 minutes cycle or pleasant 25-minute walk along a track. Further on is the leisure lake, Lac des Fades, with restaurant, aqua park, boating and fishing. We are just a 5-minute drive from the local town of Pontaumur, with supermarket, shops, cash point, Wednesday market and all other facilities.
