Meet Norbert, the little yellow gnome who lives on The Big Yellow Holiday Bus. Isn’t he lovely? He doesn’t talk much, our Norbert. He doesn’t see much either, not with his hat so low over his eyes. But he’s a lovely fellow, always on the lookout for little birds to keep him company or comfy spots in the garden where he can sit and read. He can sniff them out with that big, round nose of his. He likes sunshine best, when the sky is so blue it makes his yellow pop, but he doesn’t mind the rain either—he says it makes a lovely pitter-patter sound on the roof of the bus.

The thing about Norbert, though, is that he likes to move around—he’s a bit sneaky like that. We’ve found him in the bedrooms, the bathroom, the lounge, and on the driving seat.
Sometimes, he’s sunning himself on the terrace, and we’ve caught him picking blackberries. One day, he was even in the hot tub! In fact, every time someone comes to stay, he finds himself in a different place.

I just arrived at the bus to find Norbert relaxing on the sun lounger after a fun week with his new friend, Elisa!

I asked him to help me with the vacuuming, but he scurried away to hide himself before the next visitors come 🤷‍♀️ He does love a game of hide and seek, our Norbert!

Here at The Big Yellow Holiday Bus, we love dogs. We must do - we've got three of them! Meet T**i the Frenchie (top left), Stanley the British bulldog (top right), and the lovely, boundless Elwyn at the bottom.

Not a dog fan? Don't worry! They are kept securely behind the fenced area of the house, so you can enjoy your holiday in peace. But if you *are* a dog lover, they always appreciate a bit of fuss if you're walking past. 😂

If we've received any complaint, it's that the bus is too hot. We get it. That's why we've just fitted in a brand new air conditioning system with three separate units. It'll keep the bus cool in the summer and warm in the winter, so we can guarantee that your stay will be comfortable, whatever the weather.

We're a dog-loving family and between us, we have three of the lovely chappies. Meet Elwyn, Stanley, and Titi! Want to bring your pet to The Big Yellow Bus? You're more than welcome! Just let us know beforehand. A couple of things to remember: if you're using the log burner, keep your pooch well away - it gets hot! Also, the field surrounding the bus is perfecting for exercising furry legs but it's not entirely enclosed so make sure to keep an eye on them. Not a dog lover? Don't worry. Our dogs are very friendly but they're kept behind the fencing to our house, so they won't disturb your holiday.
