Le Chalet remains sympathetic to it’s history as a granary, with many original features to be found both inside and out. Le Chalet is situated away from the Main House in a small secluded garden. As well as the garden there is

a private 'treehouse' style raised deck made from rustic driftwood. Step straight out from your bedroom and enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds you. At sunset the deck is ideally placed to catch the last rays of sunshine as you enjoy a glass of local wine or tend to the BBQ. Enjoy your meals on the deck under atmospheric festoon lighting, or simply gaze at the stunning and magical night sky. Upstairs consists of a large bedroom with a vaulted ceiling, including original oak beams and floor. Relax and unwind in a comfortable double-bed with an orthopaedic mattress and fresh quality linen. Towels, poolside towels and a hairdryer are included. The spacious ensuite shower-room features a walk-in shower, a heated towel rail, an up-cycled Singer sewing machine sink and beautiful views over neighbouring countryside. Downstairs you will find the open plan kitchen and lounge. The kitchen is very well appointed with an electric oven and hob, microwave oven, undercounter fridge freezer, dedicated wine fridge, Nespresso coffee machine and a washing machine. A moveable Weber BBQ is located on the deck. Relax in the lounge area on a comfortable 2-seater sofa and footstool. For your entertainment there is a flatscreen 36" Television (English & French channels), DVD player with a selection of DVDs, Stereo with aux input for MP3 players, boardgames and cards, plus a selection of books to read. Le Chalet guests also have access to two acres of beautiful gardens and a large saltwater swimming pool. Whilst the swimming pool is shared with the owners, guests in Le Chalet will be given priority. For fun in and around the pool there is a selection of inflatable lilos plus garden games such as croquet and giant Jenga. There is also a lockable storeroom available for guests with bicycles.
