One thing about no digs gardens is that they need a lot of compost to get started!
Fortunately we found a lovely local organic supplier with #mrorganics
Look at all that lovely rich goodness that is going back into our soil to build it up once the worms do their magic ⭐️🤩
Then all that goodness will feed the vegetables we grow producing nutrient rich tasty very tasty vegetables for our lucky guests for next year. ❤️

Our darling Bubble has finally left us.
He’s been on last watch pain management for so long now, we had begun to call him Lazarus as he had had made many sudden recoveries when we thought it was the end.
It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been expecting it when it comes it’s a shock.
He was the most sweet natured boy. Coming home to La Belle Eco won’t be the same without him jumping out to greet you.
It’s a great comfort that he was able to spend his last few years at La Belle Eco - we used to joke that La Belle Eco was like the doggy paradise parents used to lye to their kids and say they had sent the dog off to rather than telling them they had died. Lots of dogs to play with, they can come and go as they please, surrounded by beautiful countryside for endless walks.
We love you Bubble - may your onward journey continue to be filled with kindness and love ❤️
