Morzine is a fabulous place to ski!! We all agree!❤️.
However there are so many brilliant things to do here besides skiing!!! If you love the mountains and want a winter wonderland holiday, here are some of the other many activités you could be doing that don't involve a ski pass!!
1). Snow shoeing! Such a great way to see the mountains! You can hire the kit in town - guides also available ! ❄️🥾
2) ski touring/split boarding!! Again you can hire the equipment locally. Amazing trails off the beaten track to explore! ⛷️↗️ 3) sledging!! There are a few designated sledging areas in Morzine/Les Gets and Avoriaz! So much fun to be had for all ages! You can buy and rent in the local hire shops.🛷🛷🛷
4) Festivals on the slopes! There are two big musical festivals in the area in March 2025.. and they happen to be the same week!! and 16-23rd will be buzzing with amazing live music events...some free, some ticketed. 🎶🎉🥳.
5/6) Chamonix/Spa - Chamonix is only 1hr from Morzine and has THE BEST spa I've ever been to! Take a day for yourself and relax with one of the best backdrops in the world! 🏔️🏔️🧖‍♀️. 7/8) There are some beautiful walks to do in and around Morzine which don't need snowshoes! The beautiful Dereches and Lac Montriond are amazing at any time of year but are extra special in the winter months! So beautiful! ❤️. 9) Ice skating!! There are ice rinks in the centre of Morzine and Les Gets... such a lovely way to spend a few hours! ⛸️⛸️. 10) Eat, drink and be merry!! Try the amazing restaurants in and around Morzine. 🥗🥘

Hello! We are Seán and Monika, a couple from Ireland and Lithuania. We met through our shared love for photography, but soon found that we both shared a passion for adventure, travel and food. We have just finished a 5-month, 7000km cycling trip through France, Spain and Portugal.

We arrived in the French Alps in October, and instantly fell in love. We decided to look for work for the winter season, and were delighted to find Amy and Owen’s chalet. We can’t wait to start hosting guests and do our best to make some special memories, both for ourselves and our guests! See you soon on the slopes ⛷️.

Do you know that Morzine has a great free bus service!!!
Just round the corner from the chalet you can jump on the bus! You can jump on and off the buses to get you all around the town!!
Obviously, we provide our shuttle service (when you book your transfers with us!) however if you want to get around town, it's super easy!
We have the bus timetable at the chalet for you to use!
It's a great service!

How to simplify your holiday!!
There is nothing worse than standing in a busy, hot ski shop right at the beginning of your holiday, when all you want is to have a beer with your friends and chat about the exciting week ahead!!

The amazing team make this very easy for you!! They will deliver, fit and collect your ski equipment ... all from the comfort of Chalet La Pastorale!
Their online booking system is great! And if you have any issues during the week, they happily come to the chalet to sort you out!!
