A provisional reopening date for the lifts has been set!
The French Government has informed representatives of the ski industry that the lifts could reopen as early as January 7th, if the health situation allows it.
Prime Minister Jean Castex "cautiously announces the date of January 7, 2021, depending on the evolution of the health situation, for the opening of the ski lifts in strict compliance with health protocols", declared Xavier Roseren, the LREM deputy of Haute-Savoie on Twitter.
In the meantime the slopes are open for ski touring, cross-country ski and snowshoeing and we are keeping everything crossed 🤞 always check your country’s travel restrictions before making a booking. We’re here to help just ask.

Big hands up to the amazing rescue teams on the mountain in Morzine/Avoriaz. We saw this pick up on the mountain today of an injured skier/snowboarder.
Please make sure you have your Travel/Medical/Rescue insurance in place before you embark on your holiday.
The 'piste insurance' sold by the lift office covers you only if you reside in France, Switzerland or in a member EU country !! - as of the 31st Jan with Brexit this becomes a grey area.
Piste conditions this week :)
Snow Update - Piste conditions in Morzine/Avoriaz are very good at the moment and with nearly all lifts open we have been enjoying some amazing sunny skiing over the last couple of weeks.
Fresh snow is now forecast for Friday night and all day on Saturday this week. Forecasts are for anything between 15 and 40cm :)
Temperatures are also forecast to drop significantly and more snow forecast in the middle of the following week.
We still have some availability at the end of January and can always do a deal if you call/email the office :)
