Saint jean de monts is one of the most popular resorts on the North west coast of France and offers the visitor miles of beautiful sandy beaches. There are 20 kilometres of unspoilt beaches stretching from Saint Jean de Monts to the Lie de Noirmoutier, ideal for any beach activity which include windsurfing, sailing and Paddle. The beach slopes gently into the sea it is very shallow and is safe for children to play in and because of the low tide it also is popular with sand yachters. You will also find the locals and tourists alike searching for shellfish, clams and mussels at low tide, if you like 'moules and frits' this is the perfect destination.
The area is also a perfect destination if you like bike riding or walking as there are miles of well kept cycle paths and tracks, you can spend weeks here and never explore the same route.

We have been staying here for a couple of months and would like to share some of the highlights in this area. This part of the Vendee has much to offer and we have loved exploring it on our bicycles. We hope you enjoy our film and find the time to visit this beautiful area of France.
