Our Story

My husband and I permanently moved to the Dordogne in 2012, after visiting the region on holiday for over 20 years. We have always loved this area, with its beautiful countryside, typically French villages, warm summers, good food and the best wines in the world.

In 2012, we fell in love with a secluded property we discovered atop a hill. The barns and farmhouse had 360 stunning views of rolling hills and fields of sunflowers, and had been owned by a local farmer for many years. We spent the next 4 years renovating the property into holiday gites and a home for ourselves across the small lane.

We love the outdoors, especially bbqs and al fresco dining, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. Our gites reflect that - each has its own private garden, a private pool, a boules court, a bbq area and multiple outside dining and seating areas. Whilst we live close by, our gite guests have total privacy and are not overlooked.
