VinoLove

VinoLove Cheers! I am your sommelier and wine guide in Nice, France. Hello, my name is Julia. I have a Master’s degree in Wine Sciences and a Sommelier diploma.

I have founded the VinoLove project to share my knowledge and love of wine, history and culture. I studied wine in Spain, France and Portugal. My knowledge comes from academic courses, constant self-education, numerous field trips and working experience. I produced wine in one of the chateaux in Bordeaux and sold wines of Porto. Commercial representation of one of the champagne houses and sommelie

r for high-end events on the French Riviera. Marketing assistant in a chain of gastronomic shops, and, finally, I have fallen in love with a small but wonderful wine region in Nice. Here I have anchored and work in wine tourism. Before the start of my wine adventures, I had the pleasure of working as a tour guide and creating audio guides in different cities and museums. This experience inspired me to work with people and make educational tastings and tours informative and entertaining. I am interested in wine, gastronomy, history, geography, and culture. Being always on the lookout for new adventures and knowledge about the world around me, I am eager to share all my discoveries with you, dear friends!

Thank you 🙏🏻😊! Cheers 🥂

I don't normally like introduction posts because they often appear too corny and artificial. In addition, 🫣I am a very modest person who does not like to talk about myself to a wide audience.👥 But the rules of SMM say something completely different.👀 Since my page is getting more and more new subscribers, and among them are more and more people who have never met me,🤗 let me introduce myself.

👋🏻My name is Julia and I adore new knowledge. I love studying and sharing everything I have learnt with others. This is what I do most of my life📚

🍷The world of wine captivated me with its complexity and multifacetedness; its connection with geography, history🗿, culture, sensory feelings of pleasure🤤, and human life stories that you cannot find so much in other areas of agriculture.

Most of all,😐 I don't like when people are close-minded and not ready to discover something new, whether it concerns new knowledge, 🥱worldview, 😠beliefs, other people's differences, and of course wine🫤

I started this project several years ago right before the start of the covid epidemic and lockdowns. Not a very promising start🤯, is it? 😇But over time, everything settled down and a very modest individual project grew into a proper business but it remains the same personal and dear project to my heart.

🥂Today VinoLove Club is the ultimate destination to improve your knowledge about wine and taste the best samples🍾 I want to create a one-of-a-kind wine experience that will leave you with a newfound appreciation for wine. My tours are informative🤓, entertaining, and tailored to your needs⭐

❤️Currently, I am passionate and in love with wine🥂 Knowing about the wealth of its styles and a lot of fascinating stories to get your attention, I am sure that we will be able to find something interesting for you🍾, so different people. Everyone has their pleasure points, which is why the world of wine is so diverse🍷

🤗Tell me where you are from and what brought you here😍

Did you know?

🍇 There is a small area of vineyards right in Nice called Bellet, it is also part of the broader Provence Wine Region.

📍 Bellet is one of the oldest vineyards in France thanks to its roots tracing all the way to the Phocaeans (600 BC).

🏞️ The vines are planted on picturesque terraces facing the Var River Valley adding to the beautiful scenery of the region.

🤫 With only 50 hectares of vineyard area the production remains quite exclusive even for the French.

🍷 If you'd like to taste these wines in an amazing location don't hesitate to book a vineyard tour through our website or contacting us directly!

🍷🥂Oregon wines have become my coup de cœur ❤️‍🔥(crush) of Wine Paris 2024.
🥂🍷The first pictures are from an amazing wine tasting which became a good journey through Oregon's top terroirs🏞️ with
🥶Mild climate created by the ocean's cold North Pacific current 🌊attracted some wine pioneers mainly starting from the 70s of the XXth century.
70% of the wine production is in Willamette Valley, located between two mountains ranges 🏔️ from North to South and ideal for many types of farming🚜 It has similar capricious weather as Burgundy, even a bit cooler. Cool summers, damp autumns, mild winters.
Mainly 🌋 volcanic basalt soils, marine sedimentary sandstone and loess.
🍇Pinot Noir had almost immediate success in this terroir, yet full of potential to discover. + Burgundian model of small-scale estates and spirit of cooperation 🤝 made this success even faster, which affected modern vineyard prices in the valley.
🥂🍷Wines tasted:
🍾Blosser sparkling, unusual blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Muller Thurgau, Muscat

🥂Three Feathers Pinot Gris from Chehalem Mountains

🥂My favourite Rose Rock Chardonnay from cooler Eola-Amity Hills. Great balance between richness and minerality ❤️‍🔥

🥂Citation Chardonnay, slightly toastier Chardonnay style

🍷Stoller family Pinot Noir from Dundee Hills, fruitier delicate wine

🍷Adelsheim Pinot Noir, spicier, more savoury wine

🍷Cristom Pinot Noir from the coolest Eola-Amilty Hills, a serious wine to age and enjoy
The wines on the last pictures are Domaine Drouhin project in Oregon
🍷Cloudline and 🍷Laurene wonderful incredibly elegant Pinot Noirs in best Burgundian traditions ❤️‍
🌞Southern Oregon is much warmer and drier, more similar to California. We have tasted chocolaty and delicious Tempranillo from Applegate Valley there🍷
