has scheduled some online life-long training for the early 2025 low season (January-March 2025)
for colleagues across Europe.
The online webinar series training programme that has just opened to qualified tourist guides includes
the “Dark Tourism” series, “Guiding UNESCO World Heritage Sites” series,
and “Sustainable Tourism & Tourist Guides” that are now on offer.

Online registrations and payments have been launched.

By spreading the message of the Association of Official Guides of the Valencian Community wants to express our maximum respect and solidarity to the people affected, through deaths and material losses, as a result of the recent “DANA” flood disaster.

'Movember' is starting today. It’s all about encouraging people to grow moustaches to raise visibility and awareness about some aspects of Men's health – prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and su***de prevention.

In the EU, we are making a difference thanks to:

🎗️ our Beating Cancer plan for better access to cancer prevention, early detection, treatment and care;
🎗the PRAISE-U project that aims to ensure early detection and diagnosis of prostate cancer;
💙 our comprehensive mental health approach, which encompasses different initiatives – from employment to education.

Every day, we continue to take steps to build a more resilient for the EU.

It looks like non-EU travellers will continue getting their passports stamped when entering the EU's Schengen Area for a bit longer.
Intended to modernise EU border security and eradicate passport stamping, the new EES regime that has just been postponed once again, will require non-EU or so-called “third country” citizens, including people from the UK, to register photographic and biometric data at any EU checkpoint at road borders, airports, ports, train stations – including Eurostar services – before they can gain entry to the bloc.
However, Ylva Johansson, Commissioner for Home Affairs, announced that the launch of EES has been delayed again without a new date.
"I hope we can start as soon as possible but there's no new timeline so far. This also depends on the legal assessment that we will do and we're working on it right now."
